The Bears opened the game with a bang, as TE Zach Miller raced down the sideline for a long TD catch. The Eagles would easily answer. Through the back and forth battles each drive, it became apparent the Eagles were daring the Bears to pass as they kept stacking the box to stop the run. Jay Cutler would find Alshon Jeffery one on one with a corner playing soft coverage. A simple skinny post route turned into an 80 yard race to the end zone.
The tides turned right before halftime as Jay Cutler would find a wide open Eagles MLB Stephen Tulloch to take points off the board as Chicago was inside the 20. To open the second half, the Eagles would have their own explosive play as Nelson Agholor would get manned up on a slow LB thanks to some broken coverage. There was no chance. The final strike seemingly came when Jay Cutler threw yet another deep red zone pick to Tulloch.
All was not lost yet as Chicago was only down 14-20. Trying to throw a third pick in the final two minutes, the Eagles dropped a sure Cutty INT in the end zone allowing Chicago to settle for three. The Bears opted to kick it deep and play defense with three time outs instead of trying an onside kick. It appeared to work as the Eagles got Iggy Azalea on their first snap and ran a WR reverse. Chicago knocked the ball loose in the backfield, but the refs claimed Philly recovered it. They even reviewed it to see if they could take the fumble off the stat sheet. Jerks. Ryan Matthews then faced a 4-6 Bear defense and ripped off a 12 yard run to seal the game.
Eagles 20, Bears 17.
Great game Pitt. Even losses are entertaining versus you.
Hopefully the simmed game is close to what we had with no injuries.

Pittsburgh moves on to 2-0, Martavis Bryant had a day with over 125 yards receiving and 2 TD, The Steeler D held Cincinnati to only 3 points, allowing only 13 over the last two weeks. Things heat up next week as they face their in state rivals the Philadelphia Eagles(SteelPitt16).

Jags defeat the Chargers 19-13 in an odd game. Perfect San Deigo weather, yet drops plauged both teams, with Allen Robinson and Julius Thomas dropping multiple passes. Difference in the game was rookie Jalen Ramsey picking off two passes and making a solo tackle on a late 3rd down play to seal off a great defensive effort.

Cardinals get that all important first win of the season in a matchup that was much tighter than the score indicated! I think final score was 31-10 for the Cardinals over the Buccaneers! It was all tied up at half at 10 a piece after he made some big plays right before half to pull even, but in the 2nd half almost everything went my way and I ended up taking advantage of the breaks at the right time! I had a few great returns that set me up in great field position, including an INT by the Honeybadger at a very critical point! Also D.Johnson was finally able to break 2 or 3 longer runs including a very long TD, I wanna say at least 60ish yes! GG Big Steve

Cowboys thump the (CPU) Redskins 30-14. The offense was just about flawless, with the exception of a missed extra point.
Romo went 10/10 for 162 yards and 1 TD. Elliott pounded the Redskins for 116 yards on 22 carries and 2 TDs. He also caught a 23-yard screen pass for another TD.
The Cowboys pass D was stout, holding the Redskins to just 111 yards through the air.
Cowboys improve to 1-1.
Next up: EDJ's Bears

Giants jump out early
The Giants jumped out to a 20-0 lead, and once again their defense was stout and stifled the Saints offensive game plan. The offense lacked big plays, but played a balanced and methodical game to keep the Saints guessing.
Rookie TE Jerell Adams started the scoring with a 4th and 1 29 yard touchdown. In the 2nd, the Giants scored a pair of 4 yard runs by Jennings and Eli to go up 20-0. Bad luck struck as Brandin Cooks scored a 75 yard TD, then the Giants committed a safety on the kickoff. Luckily a great punt return and long pass to Beckham allowed for a last second FG as the first half came to a close. 23-9 NYG.
To start the 2nd half, Eli was sacked and fumbled for a TD. The Giants rebounded and dominated time of possession, scoring late in the 3rd and the defense preserved the win, 30-16
Rashad Jennings rebounded for 81 yards and a TD. Beckham and Shephard had 80 and 77 yards respectively and Eli was a very efficient 18/20 for 230 yards and a TD.
Leon Hall had 2INTs, and Janoris Jenkins had 2 sacks and a forced fumble.

Just heard from Commando. He and Plusch are playing after the Vikings/Packers game. He will advance the week once they're done. I will advise him to set the Titans to get the win (unless Nick and Posky get their game in before the advance).
There was no communication in the other game and the Panthers/49ers game is a CPU game so that will be a straight sim (again, unless they get played before the advance).

EA, fuck you.
Vikings win a thriller (first SNF, then Madden, sorry Plusch) to get win number 2 on the season. Teddy had 300+, Diggs had 180+. I don't have exact stats because the wonderful EA servers decided to lose connection with 11 seconds left ending Plusch's chances for a tough comeback. Vikings get the ball with around 2:30 left in the 4th, drive down to the 2. With no timeouts left and 20 seconds left on the clock, AP runs in a dive on a risky run call on 3rd and goal. After the kick return, plays are selected and the game drops. So shitty.
Hell of a game Plusch, see you week 16.
