2016 Season: Week 9

Jacquito69's record label has a new video they'd like to share with you.

For any of you affected, or about to be affected by the hurricane, best of luck with the storm.

The trade deadline comes and goes with a whimper. There was late night talks of the Vikings asking for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick from the Bears for Sam Bradford.  How many bodies would turn up in Lake Michigan if that ever happened?

Game of the Week

VS
6-1 vs 6-1. Who gets to claim the top seed in the East midway through the season?  Both are coming off losses. Both need to avoid a slump as the NFC East is currently holding the top 2 NFC teams in the division.

Week advances no later than Sunday night.

Jesus Christ, I lost 6 starters to injuries in the sim last week (Jordy! My sweet sweet Jordy hurt again). Do the Falcons play with weapons or something?

The San Diego Chargers grab their first win of the season over the Tennessee Titans 26-16. QB Philip Rivers played decent with only 1 int to go with 1 td and 219 yards. The standout was definitely rookie LE Joey Bosa who had 4 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery for 28 yards.

Whew. Cowboys survive a bunch of big plays by the Browns to come back and win on a last second FG, 30-27.

Dak struggled. 19-29 for 248, 1 TD, and 2 INTs, one of which he threw about 10 feet over the head of a wide-open Terrence Williams.

Zeke balled. 13 carries, 111 yards, 1 TD

And Gavin Escobar had the game-tying TD after Witten went down with a shoulder tear.

Cowboys improve to 5-3, and get Romo back from injury next week against the Steelers.

Sim Injuries don't happen when people get their game scheduled and played before the last minute.
