Just checking to see who pays attention to the song choice, lol
Hello ... And welcome to Week 3 in the AALoA.
Its still early in the season but there are some noteworthy stories to keep an eye on. YtBalla may have found his QB and his Texans 2-0, but Hippo seems more than ready to show that his rebuilding project with the Titans is ready to make that push for a playoff berth as they too are 2-0. The Redskins are off to a fast start with a rookie QB and a new weapon on offense in the form of Dri Archer. Three division have a CPU team at least tied for the early division lead (Patriots, Chiefs and 49ers) and the defending Super Bowl Champs continue to find ways to win.
GAME OF THE WEEK
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
We head to the NFC North for our Game of the Week as the Bears and Vikings get set to do battle for an early claim to the division lead. Both teams come into the game in a three way tie for first with the Lions at 1-1. Statistically, the Bears seem to have the edge all around scoring more and giving up less with Zach Mettenberg looking extremely sharp to start the season. However, this game is being played in Minnesota and these teams always keep it competitive heading into the fourth. Its Mettenberg vs Bridgewater, AP vs Forte and the youngsters Kevin White vs Devonta Bridges. Who will come out on top?

Dolphins escape St Louis with a gritty 34-31 victory but lose Ryan Tannehill for 4 weeks with a dislocated ankle. Matt Flynn stepped in and led the Dolphins to victory behind a strong passing performance. Flynn felt more than comfortable with fellow former Packers Jennings, Jones, and Starks catching passes.

Chargers squeak out a win against the Jaguars 30-27 in OT.
The Jaguars led early after a pick-6 and 73-yard TD pass to WR Allen Robinson, but the Chargers stayed resilient. The offense remained patient and in the end was able to pull even late, forcing OT.
In OT, the Jaguars received the ball and scored on a FG. Then, the offense went on a methodical drive and WR Stevie Johnson caught the walk-off TD with 19 seconds left.
Quick Notes
*QB Philip Rivers threw 4 TDs, his 10th in 2 games.
*Rookie WR Antuan Rhodes scored 2 TDs. He now has 4 on the season.
*FA signing MLB James Laurinatis played his best game of the season, leading the team with 8 tackles.
Great game, Pocket. Was really fun.

Adele's voice gives me goosebumps. So good. Yes, I'm paying attention. haha
Thank you for advancing Commando.
Thank you for the write-up Pitt, and the GotW nod. Pressurrrre for the new Vikes stadium to see this kind of attention. It's too bad it's early in the season and we can't test the roof's strength at holding up snow.

Ravens Pound The Steelers 35-21
The Steelers jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead at home to get things started vs the Ravens. Everything looked to be going according to schedule for the boys in Black and Gold as Pittsburgh opened up their lead to 21-6 with under a minute left in the first half, however Baltimore had other plans. The Ravens went 86 yards down the field in two plays to cut the lead to 21-13 before the half and scored a TD and conversion on their first possession of the second half to tie the score at 21. The Ravens D made all the right adjustments and pitched a second shutout forcing two Big Ben picks as they finished off the Steelers with a 35-21 victory on the road.

Week 3:
vs
After a nail biting Week 2 win over the Dolphins on a key stop on a 2 point conversion to clinch a 31-30 win and a 2-0 record the Browns welcomed the Cincinnati Bengals into town, and were looking to get off to a fast start. ANDDDD the first kickoff of the game highly touted rookie CB Matthew Riley ran the ball in for aa 92 yard kickoff return TD! Besides a 97 yard TD by AJ Green on the Bengals first play they were held in check by the Browns defense who had 5 sacks, 2 interceptions and a safety. Crowell lead the way on the ground while Manziel had a shaky game going 15/23 for 185 yards with 1TD and 1Int.
Browns 29 Bengals 14
Player of the game:
HB Isaiah Crowell 25 att 157 yards 1TD: 1Fumble on Cincy 1Yard line.
This leads some to ask....

Skins beat Falcons 21-7. QB McGhee throws for 305 and 2 tds. 160 of those went to fellow rookie Jordunn "Mighty Midget" James. Falcons lost M.Ryan to broken collarbone before halftime which made it tough to move the ball. GG nour

Cowboys win a thrilling shootout over the Lions 45-38, the Lions managed to to get the ball down to the Cowboys 1 as time was expiring but Ebron couldn't quite get the ball over the goal line, the Lions had no timeouts thus sealing the win for the Cowboys and a 3-0 start to the season.

Eric Cartman stepped in to handle the Bears press game conference.

The Bears absolutely dominated the game. Yet somehow, the Vikings scored a game winning TD, on a 84 yard bomb, untouched, over the top of a prevent defense to cap off a 21 point 4th quarter rally.
I have video highlights to cut up later. Just waiting for the tear ducts to dry up.
