2015 Season - Week 17

With one week to, the playoff seeds are almost completely locked up. If the Ravens win, they're in. If they lose, they're out. The #1 seed is on the line between the Browns and Steelers. Not only the #1 seed, but a first round bye at that... The Dolphins can win and slide in to the #2 seed.  The final NFC Seed comes down to the Panthers beating the Buccaneers. I'm unsure of the tie-breaker if both the Panthers and Falcons lose.  Chicago is guaranteed a #2 seed or higher. The Eagles just have to win to secure a wildcard bye. But should they falter, I don't know how the clusterfuck of the NFC East will be. The Eagles and winner of the Cowboys/Redskins both have a shot at a #1 or #2 seed.

VS

This is the easy choice, and that's even with breaking my rule of not using the same team back to back weeks. We've got revenge, and the top seed on the line.  Also, a lot of eyes should be following the Redskins/Cowboys matchup.

Playoffs open on Friday night.

Texans defeat Jaguars to end the season, but their postseason chances were greatly hurt. In addition to the previously injured Arian Foster, the Texans lost leading receiver DeAndre Hopkins to a torn abdomen and return specialist Javier Arenas to a broken collarbone.

Despite those rash of injuries, I can guarantee you that the Steelers/Browns game tonight will be a hotly contested battle because neither team will want to go on the road to Houston to face you and your Texans in the Wild Card Round.

Heck, you made David Fales a viable QB in this year's game where QB play is crucial.  I'm guessing you'll find a way. lol

I'm fairly certain the loser of Browns/Steelers heads to San Diego next week. AFC shapes up like this:

BYE: 1 - Browns/Steelers 2 - Dolphins
3 - Texans vs 6 - Ravens
4 - Chargers vs 5 - Browns/Steelers

Good call.

Btw, heading to San Diego to face Ken's Chargers isn't any easier, lol.

Browns defeat Steelers 24-14 to advance to 15-1 and lock up the #1 Seed and Home Field Advantage throughout the playoffs. Gg again Pitt always close, I'll be writing up a "End of the year" post in the next day or so, stay tuned.

Roethlisberger throws 5INT and loses a fumble in the loss.

For the season, Big Ben threw 16 total INTs ... 8 of them came in the 2 games vs the Browns, lol.

The San Diego Chargers decided to play their starters against the Denver Broncos in the season finale that did not matter and it came at a cost - ROLB Melvin Ingram tore his pectoral and is out for 30 weeks.

Rookies MLB Denzel Perryman and ROLB Kyle Emanuel will have to fill in for the Bolts' number one pass rusher.

I really want Mettenberger to eclipse his Passing Yardage milestone, but not sure the risk is worth it. Hope your young guns can fill in for the playoff push.

Lol rivers actually left the game in the first quarter with an injury and then Clemens who's now the 2nd string. So I played with ponder with pretty much the whole game. I was scared shitless. Luckily they're both ok for the playoffs.
