2015 Season - Week 13

Hey! What's this? A weekly write-up? How do these work again? As of this posting (7:40 pm Central), we got the Cubs in the playoffs, down early to the Mets. But #WeAreGood and they'll keep fighting. Hell, David Ross almost hit a bomb out.

In college football, Nebraska closed out a game. Ole Miss lost to Memphis. And then there's the whole MSU standing up to little brother. Ha haaa Harbaugh!

Back to the Franchise. Pitt did an awesome job showing us the playoff pictures for each conference down below. And completing our twelfth week, I'll be looking at a possible quarterly Power Rankings post. But that might be ambitious. The Cubs are on, and there's Destiny to play.

Browns advance to 12-0 and pitch a near shoutout again vs the Bengals but with under 2mins Andy Dalton threw a TD. Final Score 27-7.

The Steelers keep within striking distance of the undefeated Browns in the AFC North race with a tight 20-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Antonio Brown caught 2 TD passes and K Shaun Suisham booted a pair of FG including a 56 yarder as the Steelers held off the Colts for the W and moved to 11-1 on the season.

With the final playoff push approaching each game carries much more significance. Here are some early scores around the league and what they mean going into the final stretch.

Browns 27 Bengals 7

The Dawg Pound remains undefeated but with the Steelers right on their heels at 11-1, they can't afford to be thinking about the '72 Dolphins just yet.

Steelers 20 Colts 17

As mentioned, the Steelers have the second best record in the league at 11-1 following this win, but still find themselves in second place in their own division and staring at the possibility of going on the road in the Wildcard Round to open the playoffs.

Eagles 20 Patriots 10

Philly gets a big win, as despite their excellent record, the win only ensures that they will at least hold onto the 6th seed in the NFC for now.

Ravens 42 Dolphins 21

The Ravens win, coupled with the Patriots loss means that Baltimore will jump New England and back into the playoffs heading into next week. The Dolphins loss also opens the door for the Chargers and Texans to move into a three way tie for the #2 seed in the AFC depending on the outcomes of their games.

Cowboys 23 Redskins 20

The Cowboys victory over the rival Redskins puts the pressure on the Bears to win in order to keep pace for the #1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Washington still has a playoff spot after the loss but are now tied with Philly at 9-3. It also means that a Minnesota win, not only puts them a game out of the playoffs but a game out of the #5 seed.

Remaining Games:
Seahawks vs Vikings --- Both seem open on availability tonight and tomorrow. We'll see.
Jaguars vs Titans --- No word from PocketPass. If no response, sim win leans towards Titans.
49ers vs Bears --- Paging beachlife. Where you at? Multiple users having issues scheduling with you now. Are you fading on the league or what? If no response, sim win leans towards Bears.
Broncos vs Chargers --- Same deal with Apoc. Haven't touched Madden in nearly a week. Ken says he hasn't heard from you despite you adding him on PSN. Haven't seen you on the forum. If no response, we're leaning sim win towards Chargers.
Lions vs CPU ---
Buccaneers vs CPU -- Scheduled for Monday at 3 EST
