2015 Season - Week 4
I still get a bit hyped up when I listen to this song.
We are entering the quarter mark of the first season. You guys have been great. Let's keep the momentum going.
Anyone speak with SquirrelHunter lately? It's not like him to completely ignore messages. But he's been on the PS4 playing Metal Gear Solid 5. Hope he joins us soon. He's always fun to play with.
Also, Demon should be showing up very soon. He just got a new place, and was having issues with the cable company turning on his internet.
Penalty Sliders
I'm notching penalties up one tick each.

Week 5 opens Monday night.

TWO Games of the Week this week! There are 4 unbeaten teams remaining in AALoA this early in the season. Both games feature unbeaten vs unbeaten. What matchups we've got here. Should be fun to watch. Husk and Pitt had a great tryout game. And it's a division rivalry. Then we have league vets Nike and Ken squaring off, and both teams are typically challenging for playoff runs. Scary to think that all four teams are in the AFC. Usually the NFC is the conference with the upper hand.
Week 5 opens Monday night.

Steelers Defeat Ravens In Early Season AFC North Battle
On a night when the Steelers honored fan favorite Jerome Bettis for his induction into the Hall of Fame, the Steelers broke out the beautiful old school bumble bee uniforms in order to do battle with the Baltimore Ravens in a battle of undefeated teams.
Over the years the Steelers and Ravens have played some physical contests in which the results and scores have been extremely close. Judging by the numbers it would appear this game also played out that way. The two teams were virtually even in total yards (414/357), they both had 14 first downs and they both went 4/8 on third down. However, the big number was four as in four Joe Flacco interceptions. The Steelers forced a couple of early picks (including a pick 6) as they jumped all over the Ravens for an early 14-0 lead and continued to build leads of 21-3 and 35-10 at halftime. Ben Roethlisberger, who finished with a perfect passer rating of 158.3, did a lot of turning around and handing the ball off in the second half as the Steelers nursed their lead and secured the 44-24 victory.

The Bears escape the Raiders, in major thanks to the man of glass, Derek Carr getting hurt, and the Raiders giving up on the run game.Mettenberger went the game without throwing a pick, and made mostly solid decisions. Matt Forte found some running room. And the Bears defense got gashed on the ground, but showed their teeth in harassing the Raiders signal callers and registering sacks.
The story of the game may be the Raiders losing their heads. With 1 time out, the clock winding down, and the ball inside the 5 yard line before halftime, they skip the field goal and go for it. Normally a pass rusher, Pernell McPhee sagged out to the flat to pick off a quick throw and save the drive.
Chicago travels to Kansas City next for their 2nd AFC West game of the year.

Texans beat Falcons in a hard fought battle. Arian Foster continues to be difficult to stop and first time starter at QB David Fales made enough solid plays to put them over the top.
This could have been a very different game if the Falcons could have recovered any of the three fumbles they forced.

Browns win an interestingly high scoring game 48-45 over chargers. GG Ken. Side note: Does anyone know how to better defend aggressive catching Ken was legit 8/11 on aggressive catching in coverage, it was absolutely insane considering it was vs Joe Haden Justin Gilbert and Tramon Williams.

Yea that interception was wild but there were 5 turnovers all together.. Defense finally woke up toward the end of 2nd quarter.. Started out down 17-0 fast then Wilson leads a scoring drive when he tossed a deep ball to jimmy graham for 70 yards and the score.. 17-7 then on the very next drive for the lions Stafford gets sacked and fumbled it and DT Mebane scoops it up for the 10 yard TD return 17-14... Lions would score before half 24-14 and with :12 left onthe clock a screen to Lynch would go for 30 yards to setup a FG but with 10 mph wind in the face it came up short..
Seahawks would add 2 more TDs later and being able to capitalize on the turnovers was a big help and even though Russell Wilson finally threw his 1st pick he still had a pretty good game.. 179 yards with 1 TD 1 INT and 36 rushing yard...
