Week 2 Open
Wed Feb 12, 2014 9:20 pm
All the games are in, so we've advanced early.
Nebraska narrowly defeated Missouri in a thriller in the Week 1 GOTW.
Week 2's GOTW is No. 14 Texas vs. No. 1 Alabama, assuming Texas comes out of hibernation.
Advance is Sunday (2/16).

Haven't heard anything back from Sik_Wid_It so I'm planning to just play the game against the computer later on tonight.

AL 42 TX 30
The Longhorns came into Bryant-Denny and came away empty handed as AL won 42 to 30 behind 449 yards on the ground. The score is deceptive in this game was never really that close as AL took a 21 to 10 lead into half and basically traded scores until stopping Texas on their last drive and running the clock out.
After struggling against UGA our three headed running attack got back on track with 204 rushing yards by D. Henry, 124 by A. Kamara, and 69 by C. Phillips.
Next up is a road game in The Swamp vs. Florida and then a rematch of the SEC championship game against Missouri. It's been a murderer's row of games to start the season, but we seem to be right on track to a strong start in the defense of our national championship.
POTG:
Offense: C. Phillips
Defense: R. Anderson
