Hey guys. Sorry for not getting my game in. I need to take a short break from the Ps3. 1-2 weeks I'm thinking. I will get my other stuff done on the web in the meantime

AL 56 MSU 28

Once again the Crimson Tide were victorious in the "Battle of Highway 82". MSU came into the game ranked #24 and you can't take any SEC opponent lightly but our running game proved too much for the MSU defense.

Once again we stuck with what has been working and ran the ball for a tune of 519 yards. TJ Yeldon led the way with 214 yards and 2 TDs with Kenyon Drake joining him with 192 yards. Looking at our depth chart there was no reason to not have Yeldon and Drake on the field together for as much as possible and that decision to tailor our offense to them has proved to be wise.

Our defense gave up 28 points but 21 of those points game after halftime when we already had a 28 to 7 lead. Next up is South Carolina and a trip down to Auburn.

Recruiting Recap

We signed five recruits last week including all four that came to visit during the LSU game. I am sure the great game day atmosphere and our on field performance were contributing factors. Here are our four commits:

We are trying to have a top ten recruiting class and things are heading that way.

Huskers rolled Indiana. Both the starting and backups and backups backups on defense shut out the Hoosier offense. The Huskers did lose backup RB and returner extraordinaire Adam Taylor broke his tailbone and is out for ten weeks. Which is the rest of the season. The starters on offense were benched after their opening drive in the 3rd quarter.
