Huskers shake off rust. Cruise past Illini.
Not to bore you with the details. Illinois had a rough case of the Interceptions. After taking a quarter to wake up, the Huskers exploded for 24 points in the second quarter. Wes Lunt received a condolence package in his locker after the game that read, "Sorry for your loss."
Here's the recap in photos.
Illinois | 0 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 3 |
Nebraska | 7 | 24 | 0 | 3 | 34 |

Alabama 31 - Ole Miss 28
How do you gain over 600 yards of total offense, while holding your opponent to under 400 yards of offense, have a almost 10 minute advantage in time of possession and only win by 3 points (scored on a last second FG)? You go 2 for 6 in the redzone, with 4 INTs thrown in the redzone that's how!
This must have been a hangover from our OT loss to Missouri last week but in the end a win is a win. Definitely need to get back to playing error free football again. In a game when we pass for over 400 yards, and rush for 185, the score shouldn't ever be this close.

The Hawkeyes get murdered in East Lansing as the defense can not stop the run and the vaunted Spartans secondary feasted on sophomore QB Jason Wade.
