Mizzou signs 4 more crappy players
The University of Missouri announced in a press release that it has received commitments from four more mediocre recruits, bringing its total class to 13.
The latest commitments include 3-star recruits QB John Howard, DE Derek Grant and CB Nick Newman. 2-star OLB J.T. Bush also announced that he will be joining the Tiger family.
"We really feel this guys represent what we're all about here at Missouri: mediocrity, and a pre-New Years bowl appearance," Coach Mustard said. "We think they'll fit in nicely at Mizzou."
The school is the only SEC university to not sign a single recruit of 4 stars or better this late in the year, although it is making a strong push for LG Joe Young, the No. 3 guard in the nation. Analysts say Missouri is now Young's top school.
Mustard dismissed the report as a vicious rumor, saying that Missouri would never offer a scholarship to someone that good at football.
"Who do you think we are, Kentucky?"

DE Brad Golden
Seward, NE
#2 DE
#84 in nation overall
The 2nd target on Nebraska's board has finally issued his commitment after Iowa flaunted the white flag. The local boy stays home, and will challenge from day one to replace the departing Jason Ankrah.
CB Jarred Douglas
Plymouth, NH
#19 CB
#574 in the nation overall
Douglas is a tall, lanky CB at 6' 2" who boasts great speed, and excels at zone coverage. Depending on how the remaining CB targets pan out, Douglas can fill out depth, or redshirt to gain some muscle and work on his man coverage.
CB Travis Jenkins
Fort Stewart, GA
#17 CB
#504 in the nation overall
Jenkins doesn't boast as much pure athleticism as Douglas, but has a higher football IQ. This will be a key spring battle with a potential opening day roster spot on the line, or a red shirt as compensation.
In other recruiting news:
LSU gets the commitment of ESPN150 recruit Eric Hodges. Nebraska came in a distant second, but coach Jeanneret refused to eat grass like Les Miles. The stupid action amused Hodges enough to get him to commit. Talk about the lengths recruits go to try and get a coach to jump for his attention.

i'm gonna have to cut a bitch if marcus rush (he of the 22 sacks, of which only about 6 were user) doesn't win all of the defensive awards.
also michigan state remains at 4 total commits, 2 5* 1 4* and 1 3*. meh.
