LINCOLN, Neb. -- Word out of Nebraska is that Bo Pelini may not be roaming the sidelines of Memorial Stadium this coming fall. The head coach has been present through all of training camp. But the usual fiery demeanor displayed by Pelini has been noticeably subdued.
New Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst has scheduled a Press Conference on Wednesday, August 7th to calm the Husker faithful who were seen rising up from the fields with pitchforks in hand, and corn spilling out of their pockets, marching toward the stadium to demand answers. Further coverage will be posted as more details emerge. But many questions abound, like why were all those hicks walking? Haven’t they seen horse and buggies, or even cars by now?
