League Discussion: Start Date

All player ratings should be revealed by the end of Wednesday, August 6th.

When should we start? Right away? Just use stock rosters? Or wait for the first official regular season roster? I don't really have a preference either way. stock rosters typically have 70 man rosters that you can personally cut down. Typically, the first regular season roster is 55 guys with nobody to cut in the preseason, but include slight ratings adjustments.

You can wait to vote if you want to see all ratings, but I'm just curious what your preferences are. This is a much easier discussion unlike trade restrictions.    Also, please post when you vote with your reason why.

This is also assuming there's no patch needed by EA to make things work.

I'd like to cut down the rosters myself personally.  If the Vikes cut someone who I wanna keep I'll be pissed, lol.  Unless there are any major issues that need some patching, I'd say game on.

I know of one user who will not have the game until the weekend after launch date.  Is there anyone else who will not have the game at launch? 

If that's the case, we might "officially" start the franchise Sunday, August 31st. Then quickly blast through the pre-season and hit Week 1 of the regular season by Wednesday, September 3rd.

I'm away until Friday so the weekend start would be better for me.

I am fine either way. Although I would love to wait till Madden wakes up and gives MLB Keenan Robinson 80-plus speed. May have to wait forever though

Just bought the game. Going to set up new account with PSN tomorrow so I don't use my brothers. See you ladies on the gridiron.

I won't be starting the official franchise until the saved game mess gets worked out.  Hopefully it's an easy server side fix and won't require a full on patch to pass certification.  Stay tuned folks.
