GOTW is No. 15 UCLA vs. No. 6 USC in a game that could decide the PAC-12 South.

Gonna extend Week 13 by a day for March Madness, so Week 14 opens Sunday, 3/23, unless everyone gets their games in ahead of time.

In a warm-up for the always challenging Iron Bowl next week, the Crimson Tide took care of business and dominated out of conference foe San Jose State.

Derrick Henry had another great game with 5 TDs and over 180 yards rushing. Tyren Jones had his first 100 yard game of the season in mop up duty, we did not throw a pass for the entire fourth quarter and 1/2 of the third. On defense MLB Tim Williams had a monster game with 16 Tkls.

Player of the Game:

Offense: Derrick Henry, HB, 18 Car, 182 Yds, 5 TD, 15 Rec Yds.

Defense: Tim Williams, MLB, 16 Tkls, 3 TFL.

Next Up: Auburn

RECRUITING UPDATE

Two more signees this past week:

Jamar McLaughlin, Like a Star @ heaven

Mark Seward, Like a Star @ heaven

ATH, ESPNU Top 150, #12 Overall ATH, #33 Overall

We had 6 recruits visit campus this week and all 6 had us as their #1 school, so expect a load of commits next week. We are still in the battle for some key players and hope to seal the deal in the coming weeks, or steal them in the off season. Right now we have the top recruiting class in the country and aim to seal that distinction by next week.

Finally lost out on a couple of different recruits. Guess I'm not not untouchable and I'll have to reexamine my other recruiting points.

UCLA handles USC pretty easily. Sad to have my best season on what is essentially an unofficial season. Projected to play Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.
