Mizzou coughs up another 4th quarter lead, this time to Georgia. Ever since I became commish, I suck at this game all of a sudden.
Week 9 opens Saturday, 3/8.

Nebraska gets a STUD commit from the heart of Alabama. The Athlete (#9 Overall) boasts 98 Speed with 93 Acceleration. Only his 89 Agility needs development.
He has the skills to play WR, CB, or Safety. At 6' 4" and 200 pounds already, this kid can be a nightmare matchup problem with the length to shut down opponents, and the height to go over the top. That freshman QB with high 90s Throw Power Nebraska recruited and is currently redshirting, may have a legitimate chance to play and next season if we drop the option game and just launch balls down the field to current freshman stud Andre Manning, and the new guy. (salivate)
Also, I'm going on Auto-Pilot this Friday. I'll be on vacation in Los Angeles with no way to access the game. So I'll play #4 Michigan and will be back in Omaha after the 13th some time. My return date isn't solidified quite yet.
If anyone has tips on awesome places I have to see in LA, let me know. Thanks.

Three more signees this past week, including our first 5 star, and top ten signee:

We currently have the #2 recruiting class in the country and I believe that when all is said and done we will have the #1 class.

AL 73 - ARK 48
Can you say shootout? This is the type of game we expected last week vs. TXAM but of course it comes against an unranked team with a losing record. Only in the SEC! The game was tied at 35 at half with Alabama being down by 14 points at one point. The defense once again waited till the second half to step up and held ARK to 13 second half points.
Once again we had to lean on our offense to pick up the slack. Unfortunately it seems like our offense has to put pressure on the opposition's offense to score on every possession in order for us to win. Not sure if I like that or if it's a recipe for long term success. We'll see in the coming weeks as we have some tough road games.
Game Highlights
One RB and One WB with over a 100 yards rushing.
Two WR's with over 100 yards receiving.
5 TKFL
2 INTS, 2 FF, 1FR
17-19 Passing for 308 yards and 3 TDS
455 yards rushing with 7 TDS
Next up: #2 Nebraska
Player of the Game
Chris Phillips, QB, 9-10 Passing, 147 Yds, 9 Car, 117 Yds, 5 Total TD

Nebraska rallies in the fourth quarter surviving a game that the NCAA gods decided, hey lets, eff over the Huskers.
Down 35 to 28 to start the fourth, Nebraska scores twice and holds Michigan to a field goal to get the win.
On Michigan's opening drive, their RB takes a counter and races up the sideline 57 yards for a TD. While running down the sideline, he shrugged off 4 tackles to score. Just ridiculous. Nebraska countered with a perfect drive to even things up.
Then the game got more screwy. My CB with 98 Man Coverage decided not to cover anyone. The QB refused to be sacked breaking 2 or 3 sacks at a time before completing a pass. Injuries piled up for me, and 4 players got knocked out for most of the game including my best RB who went 7 weeks as Questionable/Probable without missing a snap, but couldn't play when healthy. I would throw to the right with my QB to the O receiver, only to see the ball go to the left hashmark. Twice. Both picks. With no defenders rushing the QB. Michigan would launch deep ball after deep ball, and my really good CBs would be 15 yards past the ball oblivious to a ball being thrown.
So frustrating. So satisfying to pull out the win though.
