2019 Season: Week 7 Open

Unfortunately, the Game of the Week did not get played last week due to PSN being down. The Vikings sweated out a sim win to maintain their perfect record. Guess who goes head to head this week? Undefeated Bears vs undefeated Vikings, that's who.

Another referral rolls in from bo_jingle/PorkNBeanz. TurtleSwag85 is looking for a team. They wanted the Bengals, but they're taken.

Not related to the league, GotDatDro is a viewer of lArlstol's twitch stream when we've been playing Fortnite. Dro has issued a challenge against your's truly, and we'll be looking to get that game in this week sometime after 4 pm EST.

It is expected of you and your opponent to try and schedule the game privately. Whether that is via Discord, PSN Message, text messages, smoke signals, whatever.  If your opponent has not responded to you within 24 hours of advance, there is a #scheduling_issues section on discord.  Tag your opponent and @Madden Commissioners to bring up the lack of communication.  This is the only way sim games will be awarded.

The undefeated records are on the line in this game of the week.

The injury bug has bit the Bears in consecutive weeks. After losing Jordan Howard a week ago, Adam Shaheen will now be laid up for 6 weeks with an Upper Arm Fracture.

The injury didn't hinder the explosive Bears offense in this one though. Trubisky lit it up with 2 TD passes and a rushing TD to boot. Tarik Cohen showed off his explosiveness with 3 TD runs and 171 yards rushing, including a 67 yard sprint. Two Bears receivers cleared 100 yards receiving.

The Vikings offense was shut out in the 2nd half. Chicago's defense was able to ramp up the pressure with 5 sacks and a pick. The defense barely bent, giving up an impressive stat line to Dalvin Cook, but made Kyle Sloter look like Christian Ponder.
