2019 Season: Week 4 Open

Five user games this week. It has a playoff feel with the matchups, including a rematch of the Super Bowl. The Bears won't have to rely on Colin Kaepernick this time.


It is expected of you and your opponent to try and schedule the game privately. Whether that is via Discord, PSN Message, text messages, smoke signals, whatever.  If your opponent has not responded to you within 24 hours of advance, there is a #scheduling section on discord.  Tag your opponent and @Commissioner to bring up the lack of communication.  This is the only way sim games will be awarded.

The first major battle for the AFC South is upon us. Two playoff coaches a year ago, Duval leaves the chilly Pacific Northwest for the sunshine, beaches, and lack of income tax in Florida. Should be a good matchup of premiere running games. One team has a defined star, while the other rocks a big committee approach in constant competition.

Bears earn a win in satisfying fashion Sunday on the lakefront. In a rematch of the Super Bowl where Colin Kaepernick saved the Bears season in replacement of an injured Trubisky, Chicago looked to take down one of the AFC's giants. Mitch Trubisky came out on fire. The opening play of the game saw the Chiefs come out in a base defense to stop the run. Philip Dorsett decided to go 80 yards untouched for the end zone.
The Chiefs would have their own anwers early. But once halftime came, Chicago never looked back. The Bears defense shutout the Chiefs in the second half. Trying to kneel out the clock after securing a first down inside the final 2 minutes, the Chiefs opted to use their time outs for whatever reason. Backup MLB Christian Jones had other ideas. Reading Tyreek Hill on the wheel route, Jones bolted for the flat, and picked off the Mahomes pass.
Trubisky was the MVP on the day with 3 TDs and a 92% completion percentage. Jordan Howard had 142 on the ground and 2 TDs, also adding in a 67 yard TD catch. The Bears defense forced three INTs, including two pick sixes.
