Season 5: Week 7
Outside of Madden 15, I took a few minutes and posted a recap for our Madden 12 league that we ran. That was a fun year despite a lackluster EA effort. You can find the details in the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Ken's already found it, and even took time to read the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that reminded him he reached a Super Bowl. I'll slowly work my way through Madden 13-25 I'm sure.

We're nearing the midpoint of the season, and there are some tantalizing teams to follow. The once hapless Jaguars are no longer purring as Peyton Manning has restored the roar. There are four user teams pursuing perfection currently: Bears, Jaguars, 49ers, and Panthers.
The Bears boast the most potent offense in the league with 201 points scored (33.5 PPG). The 49ers are 53 points behind them for perspective. When scoring defense enters the picture though, the Jags are in a class of their own, allowing only 44 points all season (7.3 PPG). The 49ers and Panthers are both fielding strong defenses as well, allowing 9.6 PPG and 10.6 PPG respectively.
The Bills are seeming to find balance, but are playing with fire. At 4-2, Buffalo has scored 83 points, but allowed 84 points on the season. Vegas must be pulling their hair out. The Colts, and Chargers are both 4-2 as well. Unfortunately for the Chargers, they're staring up at an undefeated CPU Chiefs team.
What has to come as most shocking, is a Packers team sitting at 2-3. An early season gauntlet saw them lose to the Bears twice (once via sim, no injuries thankfully) and the Panthers in a playoff rematch. It's still early, and they have plenty of time to right the ship and surge later in the year. Don't count them out.
Then there's the Lions and Vikings. Their owners have seemingly abandoned them. The Vikings at 0-6 are particularly perplexing with the development of Teddy Bridgewater being on schedule, and having him surrounded with capable weapons.

Again, the only user game has a user that's on Auto-Pilot. If no word from Posky, I'll play the CPU. From here on out, I'm just going to pick my favorite matchup/storyline to follow, even if it's a CPU game. So this week the 6-0 Jags face the 5-1 CPU Titans.

Jaguars nab a win late in the 4th to topple the Titans 10-3 on the road . Rookie TE Pederson found himself to be the Manning's go to guy as he has been all season grabbing 8 catches on the day, one of them being the deciding factor for the game. Titans D was no joke though. Just a tough team to get by. Luckily as mentioned by EDJ, the Jaguars Defense has been in a league of their own and was able to cling onto the magic they've possessed all season long allowing just 3 pts.
Next week, another rivalry game as Jacksonville heads to Indy to take on BigSteve's Colts.

The Bears demolished their CPU rivals as Posky still refuses to respond to messages.
Everything was clicking for Chicago in all 3 phases of the game. On offense, Jeter and Jeffery combined to shred the Lions poor secondary. On defense, the Bears produced a pick six, and a scoop and score, along with several sacks and two other forced fumbles. And finally, the Special Teams unit returned a kickoff to the house, and Punter Pat O'Donnell pinned both his punts inside the 5, which led to one of the pick sixes.
The Bears head to Jerry World next week, before a brief break to gameplan for the surging Bills stalwart defense. Week 12, a showdown with the 49ers has the potential to put perfect records on the line.

Any chance this gets advanced early this evening? I'll be on hiatus until Friday after tonight.

Tough to force an advance through so quick. Cape and Plusch are the only two left to play if you want to message them. Not sure if they're being held up by March Madness or anything else.
Speaking of, that Sparty / Luhhville game was awesome.

Packers get back on track beating the Jets 27-16. Rodgers missed about half the game allowing for Matt Barkley to step in and pick apart the Jets defense while throwing one pick.
Honestly lately Ive just been caught up in the NCAA Tourney & work/life being busy. More guys dropping out doesn't help. I'll try to push thru this season but I may step away after that as the NBA/NHL playoffs start and then summer will be here and hopefully regroup for Madden 16
