Season 5: Week 8 Open

MLB 15 The Show launches tomorrow, the 31st. Any baseball fans picking it up?  I know the MLB 14 Online Franchise failed spectacularly due to poor MLB servers, and poor commissioner implementation.  But early responses to the game are highly positive. And now, Playstation's Share Play feature is incredibly quick and you can skip the servers. I expect that reviews will be glowing per usual for Sony's crown jewel of a sports franchise. A Taste of Silver is part of the MLB soundtrack this year.

The NFC East is AWFUL. So both Cape and myself are eliminated from GotW nominations. Ken is out of town, so that's out.  Posky and Steve are M.I.A. due to different reasons. And with Demon getting the nod last week, it's Plusch's turn to assume the GotW by default. Of course, try and message Posky, Plusch. But don't hold out hope. He finally responded saying he's working 12 hour days "up north." So it may not be him on his console, and instead could be a roommate.

The Bears will enter their bye week 8-0. The Cowboys tried to make a push to keep things close, drawing within 14-20 at one point. But Chicago stepped up to the challenge and ultimately put them away 33-14.  Jeffery had 3 catches for 100+ yards and 2 TDs before halftime and saw no action after his 2nd TD. Jeter stepped out in the 4th quarter giving Logan Thomas a couple drives of live action, sparking rumors that backup QB Matt Scott isn't sitting 2nd on the depth chart anymore.

Weird. Any injuries affecting your depth chart? In the past, that's what's messed up with Madden. Crazy that this is the first time it's happened this year.
