(PS3)(PS4) Grand Theft Auto V

There is supposed to be a patch for grand theft auto online today. After I play cougars in madden I plan on giving it try if anyone in the crew wants to join up.

Yo, I just requested an invite to the crew. I plan to put some time into this game this weekend. I've had it since launch and barely played.

I highly recommend the mission Crooked Cop. It pits two teams against the cop AI. The teams have to race to a crooked cop and rob him of some files/drugs/whatever.

You have to fend off the cops, and the other team and race back to a checkpoint with the stuff. So a capture the flag type thing, and very intense.

About to be rolling in the Benjamins Boieeeeee... ah he hem...sorry about that.

Rockstar is holding off on the stimulus package until they have squashed the major bugs.

They're starting to reveal their content updates with a beach vehicle related release coming along with new weapons, and further out is a content creator to make your own missions.

The iFruit app is now available for Android. It launched on iOS, now the majority of people can do pointless tasks when not playing the game.

Rockstar started giving out the stimulus money last week. You should all have some money to blow on homes and shit.

GTA is offering a Black Friday sale on in-game purchases. A great way to spend that $500,000 they offered. You know, if you hadn't already splurged on apartments, garages, cars, and boats.

GTA V had a "Bussiness Update" which is new vehicles, weapons, etc for use in single player and online.  I really need to go back and beat this game...

Patch 1.12 is now live, containing most of the things posted above, minus "The High-Life" set. But fair warning, people are complaining that GTA Online locks up on them almost every hour. The Capture Creator releases on Friday.

Included in the themed releases are American flag vehicles, clothes, and guns (nothing says patriotic like a red, white, and blue rocket launcher). New properties are available for purchase as well. These items will only last for a couple of weeks or so.

The biggest update is the On-call mission system. Instead of sitting in a lobby (forever and ever it took last time I played) you stick in free roam until the lobby is full and ready to go.

How sad that it took 1 1/2 years for Rockstar to release a promised feature. But I guess Destiny over-promised too and I'm still playing that a fuckton.  I see a bunch of people that I've played Destiny with getting sucked into GTA Online. Any of you still play it or have interest in it?

I might have to fire up the ol' PS3 and try out the Heists feature if I can get a group of 4 going.  The only requirement is for the "heist leader" to be level 12 in the game, which can't be too hard to get to I'd think, and also own a high end apartment that keeps a planning board in it.

Hell, if the Online Heists are as fun as advertised, I might just have to pony up for the PS4 version for the increased visuals and console horsepower.
