RELOCATION: Most likely not happening this offseason. NFL won't vote on LA teams until next week, at the earliest. Relocation is turned off in the franchise right now. I'll only turn it on to allow the teams approved by the NFL to move.

SLIDERS: Tweaks needing made? I think pass rush is at the top of most people's lists. Penalties...I'd lean towards leaving them on, I hate not having them in game. So hard to tweak because they're called weirdly.

ANYTHING ELSE?: Get your questions out, and let's go go gooooo to season 3.

I'd be up to skip through season 3. I didn't play last season so I can't comment on how it worked out last year but it sounds like it will add some interest. I also, agree that part of the fun is the building of the team and getting away from the initial stock team as that was definitely part of the fun in NCAA.

As I think about it more, assuming we skip a season, how will we deal with scouting and re-signing free agents. Are you going to sim through a week everyday or multiple weeks per day, or do you plan on just simming right thru until the end of the season in one shot?

I dont mind simming as long as everyone is on same page about scouting points,resigning and practice points.

It might be too much work to scout each week, and puts a whole damper on this idea.

We can't draft as I originally planned, I left out Week 15 completely...so that will set us back a bit. Dang.

Woof, how bad was my previous estimate for scheduling?

Wildcard: Ends 01/02.
Division: Ends 01/03.
Conference: Ends 01/04.
Super Bowl: Ends 01/05 (Tuesday)

Non-playoff teams need to be engaged with their team on console in each round. Once your season ends, you have to look at your coach and see about resigning him before I advance. You don't want the CPU signing a fake coach because a coach's contract ended.

Offseason:
Resign Players: End of Super Bowl to 01/06 advance.
Free Agency Wave 1: Opens Wednesday 01/06
Free Agency Wave 2: 01/07
Free Agency Wave 3: 01/08
Draft Prep:
Draft: 01/09 or 01/10
Immediately after the draft you will need to get your roster down to the max 55 players, and a minimum of 49. There will be no free agent signings after the draft.

Sim Pre-season.
Week 1 opens, and 2 free agent signings allowed.
Week 2 opens, and free agency is unrestricted.

Soooo with the SB getting pushed back 24 hours, we're gonna have to make some sacrifices and squish things together, including a 12 hour or shorter free agency wave.

Thursday - SB gets played. Advance to resigning.
Thursday near Midnight or early Friday morning - Open free agency.
Friday night - Open Wave 2 of FA
Saturday night - Open Wave 3 of FA
Sunday morning - End Free agency, set draft prep.
Sunday night - Draft after football ends.

I'm guessing thusk will be targeting LB's in free agency and the draft? Looks like lost damn near his whole starting crew (other than the dude from Alabama - forget his name at the moment).

No more chants of Heeeaaaaattttthhhhh in Pittsburgh as Heath Miller retires.

What will the CPU Patriots look like without Brady under center? First fake Bellichek last season and now Brady ... the end of an era.

Free Agency Wave 1 is live.

No 7 year contracts.
You may only offer 6 year deals if the player is asking for it.
You may only offer 1 year deals if the player is asking for it.
All other offers must be within 1 year of what the player is asking for.

I don't have a set time for advance. I'll make sure it's after 9 pm EST, but how late I go past that will be in the air.

I don't want people to get their bids sniped, so make sure you're making your best offers to limit that risk.

haha pitt, reports are saying that Browns owner MGD Nike demanded Coach Pettine to go after RG3 in free agency. Will RG3 be signed? Will Johnny NOT get injured? so many questions lol

After departing Cleveland last offseason for hopefully more play time in Chicago Benjamin was released and the Browns were very happy to bring him back into the system.

After being picked in the 1st round and being hyped in New York to replace/side with Darrelle Revis, injuries derailed his career and AC31 came back to take his play time. Dee went on Sportscenter to announce his signing, "still to question where he will play, but we are proud to have him" - said Coach Pettine

With Randy Starks departing in the offseason Tyrone Crawford moved over to LE in Cleveland's 3-4 leaving a back up spot at Nose Tackle available. At 6'7 364 Barnes will definitely be a man eating monster up the middle whenever Danny Shelton comes off the field.

I just don't have access to post other signings. But I know I got my Dline anchor Star Lotulelei!

I stole Tavon. I offered the most insane contract I could think of just to see how much you guys offered him and I was still 3rd on his list then I see he signed with me. Shit, not that excited about the contract but I'll have to make use of his speed in the slot now
