Nike did leave. He texted me to let Pitt know that he's giving up gaming as a whole. He didn't give a reason, but I've been told he's fine.

Hmm, odd. Is he also giving up computers? Seems like he could've just as easily come on here and said that.

This was a tough loss...........We turned the ball over 6 times and gave up 45 points in the first half. Mike Bercovici's inaccuracy was once again an issue as he missed a wide open DJ Foster on our first offensive play for an easy TD and then it just snowballed out of control in the first half.
We hung in there and tried to make it a game. We got a couple of INTs, and recovered two onside kicks but just ran out of gas near the end. Jalen Strong had a great game but is still without a TD catch this season. We are disappointed in the outcome but we at least know that we can compete with the big boys IF we eliminate mistakes. Our goal was to get a split between the back to back games vs. the #1 team in the country and we accomplished that.
We are still going to try and win out and see where we end up. It doesn't get any easier next week as we host #6 Stanford, who'll probably move up to the top 5 because of our loss. That will make three weeks in a row that we have faced a top 5 team
Next Up: #6 Stanford

Crimson Tide defeat former coach, ASU
No. 1 Alabama 45, No. 4 Arizona State 35
In a crazy game that featured 8 interceptions and 2 successful onside kicks Alabama held on to defeat Arizona State in showdown of top 5 schools.
Bama sprinted out to a 45-7 first half lead, only to watch the Sun Devils slowly, but surely claw their way back into it.
Ultimately, though, there just wasn't enough time. While the Crimson Tide cooled off considerably from its scoring blitz in the first half, the team still moved the ball effectively enough to run the clock down and put ASU's comeback hopes to bed.
