Some FAU Owl Fun Facts before Coach Nike takes his team to defend his home turf vs Coach Mustard and his high octane offense at SMU.

- Because of Fumbling issues in practice incumbent starting RB Jay Warren (66 carry) has been told to "step his game up" and "show the nation who you are" by Coach Nike. Also Coach Nike only has two players on his offense with 80+ catching and does not have a FB on the roster, so it will be a big experiment as what Coach Nike will do with his offense.

-Coach Nike has a very inexperienced but fast Defensive front seven with Senior LOLB David Lozandier leading the charge with 89speed.

Coach Nike's Press Release the day before kickoff:
" Obviously I want this team to win and get them to become a top tier respected program and I will do everything to do that this year, but with the teams that we will be playing it will be a battle"

Coach Nike will be relying on 6'4 Receiver William Dukes to make similar catches like this during his Senior Season at FAU

Recap:
Coach Mustard and his high octane offense took a 14-0 lead to halftime before QB Matt Davis got hurt, and then Coach Nike capitalized and then lead his team to a 14-3 run in the second half but was not enough, as SMU held on to win by three points. Coach Nike's Kicker with 70 kick power missed a 46 yard Field Goal early in the first half, which turned out to be critical.
