Kinda confused here, someone help me out?
Ok so I got 5000 points per week. So unless I change it per player, it just stays the same, right? Cause like this week (week 3) I haven't touched recruiting but have used nearly all my points. Just want to make sure the points are actually going to guys every week and I'm not missing something.

Correct, if you have 10 guys on your board and allocate 500 points to each in week 2, when week 3 opens all 3 guys will still have 500 points allocated to them unless they commit or sign elsewhere.illmatic_216 wrote:Kinda confused here, someone help me out?

There's a coaching ability you have to unlock to go beyond 500 points per player. I'm loving the coaching tree. Anyone know how those player abilities work if we choose to upgrade them? I actually noticed some weird message pop up before two plays in my game agains TCU, I foget what they said but it was something along the lines of increased ability for them...
Do we have to specifically activate them, or are they automatic once you unlock them?

Automatic once they are unlocked. The CPU coaches will use theirs against you too.

I surprised myself by pulling in a really good recruiting class. After my class committed, in the off-season, I saw the "gem" thing pop up on one guy specifically who ended up being a stud. I was wondering, when scouting during the season, is there any way to know a player is going to be a gem and their overall will be significantly higher than projected? Or when scouting do you just look at the attributes and make an estimate yourself?

Once you have them fully scouted it will have a gem icon in the corner by their rating

What Squirrel said. There will be a gem icon by their name after you've fully scouted them. But there's no way of telling if a player will be a gem or bust prior to actually scouting them (that would kind of defeat the purpose of scouting).illmatic_216 wrote:I surprised myself by pulling in a really good recruiting class.
