I'll be posting all Rams trade news, game recaps and stats from the season in here... stay tuned!
9/21 - Jackson departs St Louis, Sam Bradford declared for the future at QB
Today work horse running back Steven Jackson was traded to the Colts for a 2013 1st, 4th round draft picks and a young saftey in Joe Legford. Jackson finishes his career in St Louis as the Rams all time leading rusher and probable future hall of famer. The move now puts the Rams in great position to develop two rookie running backs Isaiah Pead and Daryl Richardson as well as contain 3 picks in the 2013 NFL draft. Joe Legford is expected to get the starting nod in game one against Calvin Johnson and the Detriot Lions. It was no secret that Sam Bradford was being shopped around but head coach Phillip Herass told the media today he will be getting not only the start but job security throughout this season and beyond as long as he performs up to standards.

Rams 6 - Bills 31
Had to let the CPU duke it out with the Bills my Internet was just to crappy after the hurricane.
Rams 24 - Vikings 13
Top 3 Players
Offense:
Sam Bradford: 8 out of 142 for 152 yards, 1 td
Brian Quick: 2 rec, 103 yards, 1td
Daryl Richardson: 15 rushes, 82 yards, 1td and 3 rec, 9 yards
Defense:
Trumaine Johnson: 1 int, 1 td
Cortland Finnegan: 1 delf, 1 int
Joe Lefeged: 6 tak, 1 int
In a week where the Rams offense seemed to struggle with pass protection it was the defense that carried the team to a victory. Trumaine Johnson had the first points for the Rams on a pick 6 as the Vikings stayed close to the Rams 14-13 at halftime. For the Vikings it was the interceptions and the deep ball to Brian Quick from Bradford that killed them in the second half.

It was a great game. Strong effort by both defenses. I think it was your defensive line that really won this game for you. They did a fantastic job of bottling AP up & preventing him from making any big plays. Good luck in the playoffs Precision.

Rams 38 - Buccaneers 14
Top 3 Players
Offense:
Sam Bradford: 11 out of 13 for 125 yards, 2 td, 1 int
Brian Quick: 3 rec, 48 yards, 1td
Daryl Richardson: 15 rushes, 179 yards, 2td and 3 rec, 23 yards
Defense:
Cortland Finnegan: 4 tak, 1 int, 1 td
Janoris Jenkins: 1 tak, 1 int
Chris Long: 3 tak, 3 sacks
Daryl Richardson is ready to carry this team deep into the playoffs with a huge game this week, the best single game performance all season by a Rams running back. On the flip side the defense is healthy and playing strong with 7 sacks, 2 int one of which was a 99 yard pick six. In St Louis we are ready for the playoffs and will be benching all essential starters for the final game in Seattle. Good game to the Bucs, best of luck to Tampa next season.

Rams 21 - Seattle 45
In a beyond meaningless game for the Rams, we gifted Seattle with a playoff birth today as the team never even tried. QB Austin Rivers got his tryout for the Rams today and will be released after the season. Coach Philip Herass said "Rivers threw 8 int in one game this, kids throwing accuracy is ass but if we need him in the playoffs we know what kind of throws he cant and can make now, thank god we won't be finding that out later." As for the matchup Coach Philip Herass said the following, "Seattle did exactly what we wanted them to, try... if we play them in the playoffs we know everything there is to know about this team now, we feel like evil little geniuses over in St Louis after that."
NFC WEST CHAMPS!!!
13-3 RAMS ARE PLAYOFF BOUND
Philip Herass had this to say, "We accomplished our mission this season to win the NFC West but now we have to take it one step further and win in the playoffs. As for our guys we all know they are not best or most well known but they get the job done, you bums have heart! For team offensive MVP we have selected Sam Bradford! Now get your silly donkey looking face off the stage Sam. Now the man who went above and beyond on defense... Janoris Jenkins get your marijuana smoking ass up here and give me a hug! No no Janoris I'm a man we can't have kids, get out of here! Team I don't know what will happen in the playoffs but whatever happens I will be spending the cash to replace half of you who suck and keep the good half here for a long time. Now let's go out and win that Super Bowl!"

Rams 20 - Packers 13
Rams advance to Conference Championship!!
In a game where defensive play from both teams stood out St Louis came away on top. In the first half the Rams picked the ball off twice but only came away with 3 points to show for it. Going into the fourth quarter the score was tied 6-6. Off a Cortland Finnegan interception Sam Bradford was able to finally get a touchdown pass scrambling around the pocket to hit Brian Quick in the back of the end zone. With a 13-6 lead on the next drive Janoris Jenkins made the play of the game intercepting Aaron Rodgers one handed while reaching behind his back. Once again Sam was able to get a touchdown pass and make the score 20-6. Then the Rams defense stood up and the Packers went 4 and out failing to convert on 4th down. St Louis was then able to milk the clock down to the two min warning and then punt the ball away. The Packers were able to drive and score a touchdown but with 17 seconds left and a failed onside kick the game was over.

Seahawks 31 - Rams 27
Rams fail to reach super bowl...
After the game Philip Herass had this to say..
"The Seahawks only ran four plays on offense all game; Play action, which we gave up a TD on a 78 yard bomb off it... I can't blame our guys after seeing that play SO MANY times in one game we bit eventually. Hell it was his one of two completions all game which were also off the same play. Then the other three plays; pitches left/right and a run up the middle.
The real ice breaker for us was one of the last plays of the game. With only 48 seconds left and the Seahawks losing 27-24 they have the ball 4th and 1 at our 25 yard line. What do they do? Go for it... at that point I could hear one of the referees even say what the ####? And of course it's the same pitch play over and over that goes for a TD and we lose 31-27."
Herass continued...
"If we didn't give up two kickoff return td's those cheap asses wouldn't be in the Super Bowl or even close in this game. I'm proud of our team, we went in with a real playbook and gameplan, none of that cheap shit that we never expected to encounter not once but now twice against the same coach.
We may have fell short of the super bowl but we feel good having PLAYED BY THE RULES."
