Season 5: Super Bowl Open

The Chicago Bears led from end to end to claim the Lombardi Trophy as their own with a 26-13 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. RB J.T. Lofton opened up the scoring efforts with a monster 61 yard TD run.  Steelers QB Lawrence Robinson countered with a 59 yard bomb over the top.  Not to be outdone, Bears QB Mario Jeter found Alshon Jeffery for a 58 yard bomb of his own where Jeffery just outran the coverage.  Robbie Gould missed the XP after though.

The Bears defense then stepped up, and OLB Santario Harrison mostly locked down Robinson's jitter-bugging. Harrison would collect 4 sacks while abusing the Steelers RT. The Bears registered 7 sacks total with MLB Stumph, SS Tillman, and LE Suh each getting in on the backfield party.

Late in the game, Robinson got desperate and launched a pass towards a blanketed receiver. Bears CB Kyle Fuller came down with the ball to essentially seal the game.

For his efforts, Harrison was awarded the Super Bowl MVP award.
