Post any scouting reports below. You don't have to write an essay, just a few notes go a long way. Of course, the more you share, the better. When posting a scouting report, please include: Offense Defense Special Teams (Good Scouting Report Examples) |

Frustratingly conservative. The offense seems to center around pounding the ball on 1st and/or 2nd down to set up a short 3rd down. He loves the Strong I - Close formation for tosses and HB Off Tackle Calls. Then tries to counter with either a PA Pass, or the TE Angle Route trailing the Slant.
When in Pistol, it's probably a HB Dive up the gut with ridiculously good blocking when running. When in Shotgun, any runs are HB Traps up the gut.
The Passing game is an extreme dose of short dink and dunk passes with very few chances taken. Drags, slants, quick outs, and mid-range crossing routes. Two key receivers are Brandin Cooks and of course Jimmy Graham. Colston is still a lethal option though.
Only went deep (15+ Yards) three times, and was successful. Expected to see more to add variety to his offense. Doesn't audible/hot route much if at all (Very refreshing to see that. So many people are quick to hot route ever play) and is quick to snap and throw. Carved up both man and zone.
Might zero in on his target before the snap, but I couldn't guess where it was going most times.
DEFENSE:
Strong to stuff the run. Can bring pressure from any angle. Couldn't seem to grasp any tendency of his at all. But his players made plays, and my offense couldn't do anything it felt like.
His one interception was the result of me hitting the wrong button throw to somebody I wasn't even looking at.
SPECIAL TEAMS:
Brandin Cooks returns, and he is very good. Uses a dead man at Kicker in Rob Bironas (RIP). Nothing special to note though.

Offense:
Liked hartline out of the slot(he was abusing my Nickel corner so can't blame him). Very dedicated to have a balanced attack, and if forced to pass looks at cook as his first option.
Defense:
Believe he usered the DLinemen and mixed up his zone plays quite well. Forced a fumble that helped get him points.

Offense - threw a lot of deep balls into coverage for cooks. Mainly threw quick passes, looked towards inside WRs. Got down early and fumbled with Ingram, only had 4 carries
Defense - mostly sat back in zone. I had lots of good runs right up the middle. Guards against deep balls, underneath was open a lot. Against empty sets, usually audibles to man coverage
ST - nothing
