SEASON 1: Playoffs: Wildcard Round OPEN
Madden NFL 11 - Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses
Pitt's reasoning is too great for the song. So his unedited response:
Steel Pitt wrote:In terms of a track, how about since we are entering the playoffs and that's a whole new animal, let's go with "Welcome To The Jungle" by GNR. Great album. It was actually the second album I ever bought (after the Thriller album by Michael Jackson). And yes, when I say album, I mean the vinyl. hahaha yes I had the vinyl version of Appetite For Destruction. lol

AWARD WINNERSAll nominations for award winners are now locked. I will list all available choices shortly. The winners will be decided before the Super Bowl.
There is no GotW. A non-playoff team will choose the Conference Championship video (likely whoever carries the first pick in the draft.
Due to the importance of playoff games, there is no set advance date. However, if people are plodding their feet, I will issue a deadline and then advance.

The website says I have 3 guys hurt in week 17 wont be home until late tonight to see who.
I am remembering when I was in a night class 2-3 years ago and traded for Tim tebow then had to have a sim and looked online and saw he was hurt for the year hope they aren't serious.

Saints vs Packers
Sorry guys, my phone was about to die tonight.
You're both in the wrong tonight. There's no way to correct that. Any decision I make will go against one of you. So hug it out.
IBJ - Defensive hot routes are great to overcome weak defense this year. Hot routing your D-Line so you rush/spy just one person is not. Completely unsim.
No huddle is allowed. Quick snapping during no huddle is not. In real life, it's simple to rattle off plays after play. In a video game, it's one of those things that just isn't well represented. Be more respectable with the no huddle.
>>> Accusations of constant Play-action passes on 3rd and long? I think I've ever seen on PA Draw pass, and that was in Strong I. PA Passes on 3rd and long like that should be avoided. On the off chance it messes with the AI. (We used to have an explicit rule on this, but I had removed it out of common sense)
Shoots - Rage quitting a game is a major no-no and you know that.
Shoots voted for a sim. IBJ voted to replay. Who do I side with? If I award an auto-pilot game, it absolves the infractions of the other player. So if you guys want to hatch out a plan, great, I'd love to see an amicable outcome (maybe spotting points?).

Steelers Advance To The Divisional Round
Did the 8-8 Steelers really deserve to be in the playoffs? That's what many would ask, including the fan base in the Denver as their 10-6 Broncos watch from home. However, whether they do or don't the fact remains that they are in and after a 35-20 victory over the Patriots in the Wild Card ... their journey will continue another week.
The Patriots started out strong and jumped out to a 10-0 lead following a short FG. However that is when the tide turned as La'Rod Stephens-Howlings returned the ensuing kickoff for a TD and that score sparked the Steelers. An Int and forced punt on defense lead to two more TD's as the Steelers would score 21 unanswered to jump ahead 21-10 late in the first half. The Patriots, led by Tom BRady and Rod Gronkowski, drove down the field and got into FG range to cut the lead to 21-13 at the half.
The Patriots would cut the lead to 21-20 after a Danny Amendola TD reception but they could not get any further as the Steelers would put up two more scores and seal the game with a Cortez Allen pick in the endzone to officially end New England's chances.
