DRIVECLUB is a launch game for the PS4. A bare bones version of the game will be coming free with all PS Plus subscriptions (required for online play) and you can then buy the full version of the game, or just the portions of the game you want. The game is expected to be heavily social driven to really ratchet up competition between friends. Sounds like something a league like AALoA could really get behind.

Link - Rumor exists that DriveClub is getting delayed until Spring 2014. Bummer.

The Playstation Blog just released 51 details about the game. They saved the best for last. When selecting a race, load times are expected to be less than 15 seconds. Very impressive.

Other cool touches include using NASA data to align the stars correctly and predict weather patterns and impact of fronts to impact the way the wind blows on the ground. It took about 7 months to create 1 car.

REVIEWS
Reviews are polarizing. Some outlets say it's pretty dang good. And others say it's average. Racing games are always tough. If it's not named Forza, Gran Turismo, or MarioKart, it gets snubbed pretty often it seems.
IGN --- 7.9 / 10 (Which means they liked it better than Destiny)
Polygon --- 7.5 / 10 (They also liked it a lot better than Destiny)
Joystiq --- 3 / 5 Stars
Gamespot --- 5.0 / 10

The "free" PS Plus version of DriveClub is on hold indefinitely. 
Sony is still reworking their servers and stuff to allow a smooth online experience.

DriveClub's PS Plus Edition is FINALLY launching.
It will be available for download on Thursday, June 25th. Seems like a good game to challenge lap times versus everyone while we wait for Madden to come out.
