Rams Send:
- Steven Jackson RB, 96ovr
- Brandon Gibson WR, 75ovr

Colts Send:
- Dwight Freeney... 90ovr at LB(3-4 defense)... 97ovr at DE(4-3 defense)
- 3rd round draft pick

As the Rams owner I am looking to get rid of SJax to develop my two rookie running backs for the future. Also I am sending off Brandon Gibson to develop my two rookie WR's. In return im getting a stud to play at outside LB which is a huge need on my defense and a 3rd round pick to build upon.

Question? Shouldn't cap stuff be left to owners? I mean the CAP is something everyone has to deal with, so I assume owners should be responsible? Jus curious how it work in this league.

Sjax 2yrs - 2012 cap hit, 8.99M, 2013 cap hit 10.95M
Gibson 1yr - 2012 cap hit, 660k

Freeney 1yr - 2012 cap hit 17.24M

Ideally, yes. Unfortunately there's a lot of guys who either don't know what they are doing with the cap, or don't care. There are also a lot of new guys in this league and I don't want them ruining their future since I can't fully trust them to stick around for the long haul.

Those cap hits seems really high. I will have to look on my own tongiht what the cap PENALITES would be.

Remind ill tomorrow and you need to repost the cap penalties for both teams since you guys calculated it wrong

It's ok man, although both team have enough cap space to cover the hit. It's turning out to be less hassle to just keep them and work on less expensive deals. Trade voided
