2016 Season: Week 17
For some of you, this is a pointless week. But for the talented users among us, like me, I've got draft positioning to think of. Do I teach Commando a lesson? Or sandbag it for a better draft pick so that I can wake as a force to be reckoned with next season?
Some of you have heard of, and use, the discord service. For those uninitiated with it, I'll be posting a thread very shortly about it. Essentially, it's slack but with a focus on catering to video games. With a desktop program, web-based browser version, and a mobile app for both iOS and Android, I think we make a concerted effort to move messaging and scheduling to the service. It's free, and the ability to tag a user should aid in spurring conversation/messaging. But more on that later.
Which teams are resting their starters? Who is playing for pride? Your #1 seeds are the Giants and Colts. What a heated Super Bowl that would be between two dominant users.
The AFC looks set with the Colts and Bills as the one-two. The Chiefs, Raiders, and Jaguars should round things out. The Patriots could steal a spot with a win and losses from Oakland or Jacksonville. The Bengals just have to beat the CPU Ravens. But we all know how the CPU rivalry games can screw you over with Madden Gods being pricks sometimes. Should the lose, the Steelers could win and get in.
The NFC is muuuuch clearer. Sort of. Giants #1. Rams, Vikings, Buccaneers all division winners and have a chance at the 2 seed with 11-4 records. Packers, Seahawks, Cowboys, and Eagles all fighting for the final wildcard spot with 9-6 records. And fuck if I know how all those tie-breakers would work...
So Jaguars have to try hard versus the Colts, who can rest starters to avoid injury.
Plusch has to get Posky to show up for a disconnect-free game.
Commando has to chase the two seed against a mercurial Bears team. And I may be battling alcohol poisoning after Game 7 concludes Wednesday night.
Mustard is moving to Denver, is he settled in enough to get a game in versus Pitt?

Game of the Week
Too many important games to choose from. Packers vs Lions, Jaguars vs Colts, Bears vs Vikings, Cowboys vs Eagles, and two CPU games have a ton riding on how next week's wildcard matchups shape up.
Week advances no later than Friday night.

If it helps clear things up ... the Eagles lose the tie-breaker to everyone, lol.
