Browns defeat Dolphins 38-27. Gg Plusch

The AFC Playoffs so far have lived up to the hype and the Divisional Round matchup between the top seeded Texans and the Steelers was no different.  The Texans entered the game as the #1 seed and big dogs of the AFC while the Steelers rode a hot streak having won 10 of their last 11 (including their last 7 in a row).  These two coaches have hooked up time and time again in the past (former AFC North combatants) but far from rivals as the series has been seriously one sided with YtBalla having won each of the previous matchups.  This game would be fought tooth and nail but the outcome would ultimately be the same.

These two teams would battle back and forth throughout the ball game.  Fast forward to the fourth quarter with the Texans leading 27-24.  The Steelers force the punt and get the ball on their own 6 with a little under three minutes remaining with a chance to win.  Methodically Big Ben led the troops down the field until they faced a 2nd and 10 from the Texans 27 yard line.  OC Todd Haley pulled a rabbit out of his bag of tricks and called for the play action FB wheel route which found RB DeAngelo Williams (Steelers lined up in a Dual HB sub package) wide open down the sideline but was ultimately knocked out of bounds at the Texans 4 yard line.  The Texans, showing their true grit, stuffed the Steelers on three tries and forced the FG and off to OT we went.  The Texans won the toss and could not be stopped as the drive ended on a one yard TD plunge which clinched the victory and a spot in the AFC Championship Game.

Commando had family obligations to take care of all day. He planned on playing after the Vikings beat the Packers if he could sneak away.  Once done, Commando will advance to the Conference Championship.
