So, does anyone have any annual traditions when it comes to celebrating the release of Madden each year? Also, if you want to get any games in, or want a particular challenge or matchup to take place, post them here.

My tradition goes a little something like this:

Step 1.) Sustenance: Pick up beer (Lucky Bucket), Mountain Dew, Oreos (Yellow Birthday Cake), Gatorade, and the makings for something that works well for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Step 2.) Midnight release: Watch the lobby clowns boast about their online rankings, yet only know 2 or 3 plays (like that LAME screen pass where they hot route a WR drag. smh) and get shut down by a kid there with his soccer mom.
Step 3.) First Game: Offline, Bears vs Packers. Always.
Step 4.) Online Game: Start finding one of you fools for an online throwdown.
Step 5.) Coma: From sleep deprivation.

If Madden Communities are in the game again, I'll make sure to make an AALoA Community as well.

watched you play a little and gotta say looks nice. first impressions?

First impressions are highly positive. There's still a few quirks like psychic DBs. But 85% of the time I feel like mistakes are my fault for poor reads/timing.

Momentum is awesome, it really grounds the players. Defensive controls really balance out things. Playing illmatic, we had at least 3 consecutive drives ending in punts. The shitty menu is at least a lot faster.

CPU is TOUGH on All-Pro and murderous on All-Madden. I felt like I accomplished something beating Green Bay by 10 points in my first game.

Sounds good EDJ. Any other first impressions (I know its still very early) from others that have the game?
