5. Zdeno Chara - Boston Bruins - 91 Overall
Summary: The 6’9 Chara is an intimidating force every time he steps on the ice. With 5 star Defense and Physicality - he isn’t the type of player you want to battle with in the corner with. His (95) Shot Power also makes him one of the leagues deadliest shooters from the point.

4. Drew Doughty - Los Angeles Kings - 91 Overall
Summary: The two time Olympic gold and Stanley Cup champion comes in as our number four defenseman. Doughty possess elite offensive attributes with (90) Speed, Agility, Acceleration and (93) Puck Control. High potential also leaves room for Drew to get better even better.

5. Jamie Benn - Dallas Stars - 90 Overall
Summary: Last season proved to be Jamie Benn’s breakout season. The skilled power forward is tough to stop with (88) Speed, Acceleration, and Agility to go along with his big frame and five star Shooting rating. At only 25 years old, Benn has the potential to get even better.

4. Taylor Hall - Edmonton Oilers - 90 Overall

Sure Ovechkin may be slightly one dimensional, but does he ever do that dimension well! Ovechkin comes in as our top rated left winger as he possess five stars in Puck Skills, Senses, Shooting, Skating and Physicality. His (95) Wrist Shot Power and (94) Wrist Shot Accuracy is also a league best.

5. Martin St. Louis - New York Rangers - 88 Overall
Summary: The diminutive winger has lost a bit of his speed over the years but makes up for it with five-star Puck Skills and Senses. He continues to be one of the league’s top playmakers coming in with a (90) rating in Passing and Puck Control.

4. Patrick Kane - Chicago Blackhawks - 89 Overall
Summary: Kane possesses one of the highest skill sets in the entire league with five star Puck Skills, Shooting, Skating, and Senses. His Puck Skills are elite with (94) Passing and Puck Control, (95) Hand-Eye, and (96) Deking. The only thing lacking in his game is Physical ability – coming in at only two and a half stars.

3. Phil Kessel - Toronto Maple Leafs - 90 Overall
Summary: Phil ‘The Thrill’ Kessel comes in as our number three right winger. He is a lock for 30 or more goals every year and you can see why – Phil has one of the NHL’s top shots with (93) Wrist Shot Accuracy and (90) Wrist Shot Power.

5. Ryan Getzlaf - Anaheim Ducks - 92 Overall
Summary: Getzlaf finished the 2013-14 NHL season with 87 points and a Hart Trophy nomination – but more importantly finds himself inside the Top Five Centers list in NHL 15! He is an elite playmaker in a power forwards body – coming in with five-stars in Puck Skills, Senses, Shooting, Skating, and Physical ability.

Summary: If Datsyuk focused solely on offense he would have the potential to be in the NHL scoring race every single year. Instead, Pavel is a legendary two-way forward who consistency finishes near the top of the league in takeaways.
