Texans lose to the Bengals, another computer controlled team. The defense was unable to generate very much pressure, and the few plays they got in the backfield, Andy Dalton was able to find wide open players downfield. Also, David Fales had his worst game as a professional with 5 INTs. The Bengals had terrific coverage all day, and they intercepted the ball every time they touched it. Arian Foster didn't get many carries because the Bengals were loading the box forcing the Texans to throw into their suffocating coverage.
Player of the Game: Leon Hall, 2 INTs
Shut down Deandre Hopkins whenever they were matched up-- out-jumped him on a deep throw for an interception. His second came on a play where he showed great instincts and jumped to the center of the field instead of remaining in his zone on the sideline.

The Madden gods must be pissed off this week as the AI Rams completely fuck over the Bears thanks to divine intervention. On the opening kickoff alone the Bears fumble the ball, and a FB picks it up moving up field, but instead decides his momentum will take him 10 yards backwards to the 11.
Averaging 2 yards per carry through 3 quarters, the Rams RB go beast mode all of a sudden, and instead push it to closer to 6 YPC to end the game. Nick Foles completed nearly 90% of his passes. A 3 man pass rush was unblockable. I got one safety after a beautiful punt. Inside their own 2, the Rams drive for a TD in the final 2 minutes of the first half. Go figure. On a conservative play call, they say Martellus Bennett fumbles the ball before he catches it, and nobody on the Rams is given credit for a forced fumble. But of course they have the recovery listed.
And in a critical moment, with my Bears needing a stop, the Rams throw it short of the marker. Great. Two Bears defenders completely stonewall the WR. Great. The WR gets lifted straight up. Great. But no, the refs refuse to blow the play dead. So 5 seconds later, the WR has gradually floated upfield past the 1st down to seal the game.
