Redemption!
Chicago gets its revenge on their rival from the north. In a wild game, as it is between myself and Plusch, some really twisted shit would take place.
As a result, Bears Kicker Chandler Catanzaro is being flagged by the league office and will be under investigation for points shaving. Hopefully he doesn't have Pete Rose's lawyer. Missing an XP and two point blank Field Goals, he almost cost the Bears the game. But that is nothing new for Catanzaro. After his second missed field goal, the Packers even took pity on the Bears and tried to give the ball back on downs. Coach EDJ appreciated the offer, but insisted in doing the honorable thing and punted it right back.
The very next play, after the game of hot potato, Eddie Lacy ripped off an 80 yard TD run to put the Pack up 14.
From there, Bears QB Jaquante Baugher took over. Mixing in both short and medium throws all across the field, Baugher dissected the Packers' secondary with precision. Because yet another WR injury occurred within the Bears' battered receiving corps, Cameron Meredith stepped up once again, this time replacing Tre McBride, and hauled in a TD pass to start the 4th quarter. With less than 90 seconds left in the game, Baugher bulleted a pass past three defenders and TE Nick Boyle rose up to snag the ball and tie the game.
Aaron Rodgers looked to answer with one of his trademark game winning drives, and moved the Packers right down the field. On the brink of field goal range, he mistakenly floated a ball over Jordy Nelson's head for a Bears pick. The first turnover in the game.
Baugher marched right back down the field, finding Cameron Meredith again, who set up Catanzaro for a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Woooooh. Fist pump. Shotgun a beer!
