2016 Season - Week 8
It's trade deadline week. For the love of god, nobody trade mission any more players with speed over 85. I beg of you.
If anyone is making a playoff push though, I'd gladly take some draft picks as my team is a stinker and needs to be shaken up.
For the first time in Madden 16, I believe we have more user vs user games than CPU games, and there are some epic matchups. All of them are intriguing in some capacity really. It's mighty hard to pick just one.
The Panthers might still be on auto-pilot. I need to reach out to d-stylez.

Both users loooooovvvvve the speed on the outside. Looks for a lot of Breshad Perriman streaks, Dri Archer tosses and wheel routes, and a little DeSean Jackson on the quick outs while rookie WRs streak down the seems. This might come down to who gets the ball last.
Week 9 opens Wednesday night.

I feel you. While still in the midst of my current 4 game losing streak the division crown is out of reach in the stacked AFC North and the playoffs are quickly fading away in the ultra competitive AFC in general.
I'm getting closer to using this season as a testing ground for some changes to the offensive system / playbook and I already have some plans in mind defensively to help add some spark to my off-season heading into Season 3.
But I'm not quite there yet as I keep thinking to myself that the last playoff spot last season went to a 9-7 team so there's still a chance (although that hope diminishes greatly with every loss, lol).

Every time my slow & pathetic defense gets burned I contemplate tanking & ripping it all down to start over. But I also just completely suck at defense

Browns defeat Giants 43-21.
Manziel combines for 5 total Tds while completing 90% of his passes after a sloppy last few weeks.

Dolphins roll the Chargers at home, 34-10. Lamar Miller was the player of the day with 3 total TDs including 2 huge scores with one swing pass before halftime and a 60 yd run in the 3rd to put the game away. The Miami defense finally showed up and gave credit to Dion Jordan who earned his starting spot back in the defensive scheme changes for the Dolphins. The coaches credit Jordan's ability to stay away from the marijuana off the field.

I, I just. I can't even come up with a post game post. Go watch YT's recording of the game. Mike Wallace must masturbate with mayonnaise pregame because he can't catch shit if someone is within 2 yards of him, drops for days. Teddy was way off, mostly due to all that JJ Swattage in his face all game, finally got the ground game working in the 2nd half only for AP to fumble at the .01 inch line on the go-ahead TD with 9 seconds left. But hey, that's Madden for you...

Texans beat Vikings 12-7. It was a defensive battle in which neither offense could get anything going. The Texans had to settle for 4 field goals, and the Vikings scored their lone TD after an interception return deep into Texans territory.
The final drive of the game for the Vikings was intense and masterfully executed as they converted two 4th and longs to keep the drive alive. It came down to a 1st and goal for the Vikings in which Adrian Peterson took a handoff and was looking to score. In what may be the biggest controversy in Madden Franchise history, Peterson fumbled at the goal line into his own endzone and the ball was recovered by the Texans to seal the victory. No replay by the refs, call on the field stood.

Dri Archer pushes Skins past Ravens 27-13. Archer finishes with 120 rushing 60 recieving basicly in the 1st half. Defense played well with 4 turnovers and made Flacco pay for scrambling with a herniated disk.

Steelers snap their 4 game losing skid with a 27-7 win over the Titans. Coby Fleener got things started with a 92 yard TD reception on the team's first offensive play but the big story was the Killer B's coming up big. Big Ben threw for over 270 yards and 2TD, Bell rushed for over 100 yards and Brown had over 100 yards receiving and a TD.
