2015 Season - Week 16
We open Week 16 gaining two more users, and dropping two others. Beachlife failed to appear, and Apoc said his schedule is too busy to play with a team other than his beloved Steelers. In their places, we have d-stylez260, a longtime vet who has always been the Patriots. Now he takes the Panthers, a team typically held by his buddy Capeman0623. Nickontime780 is the second new user. He was a Seahawks user with us in Madden 2013. His PS3 then fried out and he faded away. He picks up the Raiders this time around.
Besides the Browns and Steelers, the Playoffs now make much more sense. The Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, Bears, Dolphins, and Texans have all clinched. The Seahawks are next to clinch, win and they're in, as the CPU Rams need to win out to steal the NFC West. The Chargers are trying to hold off the Chiefs (who will get bludgeoned by the Browns) in the West for a guaranteed spot. The Ravens are pushing for the final Wildcard spot in the AFC, but they have to host the Steelers. The Patriots and Titans are pushing for the Ravens' spot. The NFC South is the Panthers to lose, the CPU Falcons are nipping at their heels, and they square off this week.
Is anything more intense than the battle for the NFC East? At 11-3, the Cowboys, Eagles, and Redskins all have the #1 overall seed at play. Redskins vs Eagles this week leads into a Redskins vs Cowboys matchup next week. The Eagles have the inside track even if they lose this week, since they finish with the CPU Giants next week. Getcha popcorn ready. The Cowboys get a major risk as we don't know what to expect out of nourshake's Bills.

Four user-user matchups have major playoff implications this week. How do we choose just one? We don't. For the love of stream-worthy Madden games, please post, text, tweet, PSN message, PM, woof, smoke signal, anything to let us know when your big games are getting launched.
Week 17 opens Wednesday night.

Dolphins move to 11-4 to wrap up the #2 seed in the AFC Playoffs following a grind-it-out battle vs the Colts. Miami won the game 17-7 behind strong defensive play while the offense couldn't get much of a rhythm going.

Heres my weekly bitching. Turn down the fucking penalties. Offense is damn near impossible to move the ball, therefore people just run sweeps all day to get any sort of yardage. This isnt even fun anymore.

Same here. I've had a couple of penalties per game (both user and cpu games) but nothing outrageous. My only problem is that 75% of my penalties are roughing the passer, lol.

I am also tired of the penalties, especially block in the back. I get that we're going for realism but every other play being a flag kinda ruins it

The San Diego Chargers toughed out a victory over the Oakland Raiders 29-24 to clinch the AFC West title (I think).
K Josh Lambo nailed three FGs (45, 50, and 48 yards) and QB Philip Rivers connected with LaDarius Green on the game-winning TD with 1:31 left in the game. The Raiders had a chance to win the game, but the young QB Derek Carr overthrew some WRs on the final drive.
WR Amari Cooper is a beast, but so is WR Keenan Allen. Great battle. Cooper was 8 for 144 and one TD. Allen was 5 for 115.

Steelers and Ravens engage in yet another hard hitting classic that comes down to the wire. I won't bore you with the long version.
Steelers jump out to a 28-14 halftime lead.
The Ravens make the necessary adjustments and hold the Steelers scoreless in the second half.
The Ravens score 9 unanswered points to pull to within 28-23.
With the ball late, Joe Flacco leads the Ravens down the field and after connecting with Perriman, the Ravens find themselves at the Steelers 7 yard line, down 28-23 with under a minute remaining in the game.
Here's how it finished ...
Four Plays For The Victory
Edit: On a side note, how do you embed the actual video into the post rather than having to insert the link?

Speaking of WR beasts ... I give you WR Breshad Perriman (Ravens). I've had to face him twice and thusk has him playing at an insane level.
Here are his numbers from our last game ...
9 rec
229 yards
1 TD
And while my pass defense is suspect (lol) its not just me he's doing it to. On the season ...
74 Rec
1,932 Yards (128 yds/gm)
20 TD
Those numbers are insane and he's only a rookie. One more game left with the chance at 2,000 yards and possibly tying the record with 23 TD's. WOW

Rg3 throws 7 ugly ints and lose to Eagles 17-10. Other the Rg3, it was a real tough game by both teams. Look forward to a rematch in playoffs.

I've been trying that and I always get some sort of error. I checked it vs the code in your quote and its the same code. I tried entering the code in "insert a link" and the player will show in the post during creation but as soon as I hit "Send" there's some sort of error.
Is there something with my posting access or profile that prevents me from embedding videos?

Nope, there's no special rights needed. Others have posted videos without issue in the past. I use Google Chrome myself, and sometimes Firefox. They both operate differently when editing tables within a post (firefox is best for tables). Let me think on it, and research the forum setup further.Steel Pitt wrote:the_EDJ wrote:On the twitch website, there is a 'Share' button below the video, to the right of where users can follow your twitch account.Steel Pitt wrote:Edit: On a side note, how do you embed the actual video into the post rather than having to insert the link?

While only the Seahawks could mathematically steal a Wildcard Round Bye in the playoffs, the Bears put away the Buccaneers with a few big plays on offense, and a stingy D to make sure it didn't happen. Kevin White went 3 Catches for 162 Yards and a TD. Forte had a beastmode-esque run, and Pernell McPhee harassed Winston all day.
