Season 4: Week 6
This week's write-up is also brought to you by DemonX5136. He was even crazy proactive by PM'ing me the write-up info so that I just needed to essentially copy/paste the deets. Thank you sir. Major help is always appreciated.
This section is all that he didn't provide. As commish, I'm handing out a few suspensions for stat lines posted in CPU blowouts last week.
- Buccaneers: RE Jeron Swanson
- Chiefs: RE Sheldon Richardson
- Raiders: LOLB Khalil Mack
- Raiders: LE Justin Tuck
For the Buccaneers, that's a Week 6 or 7 suspension. Your call due to a user game this week and CPU game Week 7.
For the Chiefs, that's a Week 6 suspension.
For the Raiders, they're Week 7 suspensions due to the Bye week.

In season 2, the NFC North and South Champions met early demises in the playoffs. They're both stinging from 1-1 splits this season with chief division rivals and are looking to get back on track. The Buccs have a young, athletic defense, but questions at QB despite great weapons. The Bears have weapons galore, but battle consistency issues, and try to hide behind EA programming explaining their woes at custom built stadiums.

The Bears exit hibernation in second half to put away the Buccaneers. Trailing 10-6 at halftime, the Bears defense kept the Buccs from scoring, and the offense scored TDs in each quarter to gain the lead and keep it.Jeter was so-so with 2 picks and 2 TDs through the air. The Buccs defense corralled Forte all game minus one clutch reception late in the 1st half that set up Chicago's 2nd quarter FG before halftime.
The 12 mph winds affected both QBs mightily with their throws, missing wide open receivers by several yards on multiple occassions. FS Brock Vereen came up with a clutch Forced Fumble that LB Faitele Kearse recovered to end a Buccs drive destined for points.
The Bears rebounded from a tough loss to the Packers last week going 4-2 in their opening gauntlet. After the midseason bye week, the Bears will only have 4, at most 5 (Ghost) user games in their final 10 to end the season, giving them a great opportunity to secure a great playoff seed, or embarrass themselves majorly to the CPU opponents.

After an annoying sim loss that put a wrench in momentum, the Vikings were at home against the Cowboys looking to get back on track.
After a slow start, the Vikings finally got on the board after a drive stalled out and John Potter would kick a 46 yd FG. After a quick 3 and out, Teddy marched the team down field leading to an 11 yd TD to Yakov Hayes with 19 seconds left and went into halftime with a 10-0 lead.
Midway through the 3rd, Vikings fans everywhere puckered up when Teddy went down and didn't get back up as result of a sack. Seldom used Zach Dysert played well in Teddy's absence leading the team down the field to a 2 yard TD run up the gut by Jerrick McKinnon. With the Vikings D proving to be very stingy throughout the game, Dallas couldn't muster up anything on offense leaving the field in far too many 3 and outs. Getting the ball back midway through the 4th, the crowd started chanting, "Ted-dy, Ted-dy, Ted-dy" and to the roaring ovation the team's leader came back in to hand off the ball to Klein milking the clock down for the win. Touchdown Teddy's adrenalin must have been flowing because he called up a PA streaks play that fooled the defense leading to a gorgeous throw over the top for a 48 yd bomb to seal up the Vikings 24-0 win over the Cowboys.
With the Cowboys failing to gain more than 100 yards of total offense, Teddy was overheard in the locker room smirking and saying, "I may not put up Pro Bowl numbers but I don't have to. With the way our D is playing the rest of the league better be on alert now. Purple People Eaters are back."
