Season 2: Week 14
The Kooks -- Bad Habit
Here's a quick peak at what I initially proposed as an advance schedule, and we're right on course, which is amazing. With the proposed, sim season 3, we'd look at drafting 01/10, simming the season, and doing free agency and draft prior to season 4 on Sunday, 01/11. Let me know of any issues there. The Kooks -- Bad Habit

The Playoff races are heeeeeeating up. Just like last year, things could get pretty crazy heading into the final weeks. Starting in the AFC, only two user teams sit in the top 5, the undefeated* Chiefs, and the Colts at 9-3. It's not until the 7-5 Texans that we see another user team with clear playoff chances. This was THE power conference a season ago, but seams to have tumbled a bit. The AFC West all but belongs to the Chiefs. The AFC South is only a 2 game lead between the Colts and Texans. And the Jaguars are working a way to trade their top pick to the Bears this coming offseason...
In the NFC, it's like north of the wall in Game of Thrones with Giants everywhere towering over everyone else and scary things looking to shred you. The top 6 teams are users. The NFC North is neck and neck between the Bears and Packers, but the Bears have a tie-breaker right now over GB heading into their matchup. The 49ers own the West. The Eagles own the East. The NFC South belongs to the Buccaneers, but Zydecajun is only a couple games back if he can catch up. The Vikings and Panthers are both sniffing Wildcard contention as well. Just a blood bath over there.

Packers put up a fight in Kansas City for the first half but ultimately couldn't slow down Tyler fucking Bray & the magical rookie that catches any ball in his area despite perfect coverage.

Chicago traveled down to the bayou to face the Saints. After a rocky start that included fumbling the opening kickoff to give New Orleans a quick 3-0 lead, Chicago seemingly dominated, but the Saints opportunistic defense forced 4 turnovers (2 INTs, 2 Fumbles) to hang around. Being unable to put the Saints away, Chicago relinquished their lead late in the fourth quarter once Drew Brees remembered how not to overthrow Jimmy Graham's ridiculous vertical. With a few minutes to go, Jay Cutler led the Bears down the field to take a four point lead. Drew Brees threw his third pick of the day right to Peanut Tillman to dash the comeback attempt just as the Saints had reach red zone territory.
The locker room did no celebrating afterwards though as medical staff relayed Matt Forte was going to be in an arm sling for a while. With a broken collarbone, Forte will miss the rest of the regular and the playoffs. His only hope to seeing the field again this season would require the Bears to reach the Super Bowl, no easy task.
