Season 2: Week 6

Madden Spreadsheet still broke, so here's a random song.

Gobble. Gobble Gobble. Gobble gobble gobble gobble. Happy Turkey Day. Hope all of you have something delicious to eat (dibs on the Pumpkin Pie), and some family and friends to laugh with and curse at under your breath when they interrupt the Bears vs Lions game saying sports are stupid.

Week six will last until Sunday this week.

Cutler, Bray, and Mettenberger are pacing the league with 13 TDs, 13 Tds, and 12 TDs respectively. Newton, Ponder, and Brees have been mighty adept at letting the opposing defense get a fair shot at catching the ball. It's hard to separate any MVP candidates from this group of QBs this early in the season.

With how the regular season ended a year ago, this game could have a major impact on playoff seeding. Seeds 2 through 6 were all interchangeable. While the Eagles have no user threat in the East, Cape is already looking up at the new blood Buccaneers in the South.

The Bears bolted out to a huge lead versus the Lions going up 31-10 at halftime thanks to opportunistic plays on defense, and blanket coverage on Calvin Johnson.

Of course with Megatron you can't stop him and only hope to contain him. He ended the day with over 200 yards receiving due to a 79 yard TD through double coverage in the 4th quarter.

Late in the third quarter, the Lions score on a TD pass to their athletic TE Ebron, and completing the 2 point conversion drew within 16 points. From there, the Bears imposed their will and took advantage of the aggressive Lions D to put the game away on a long Forte Counter late in the 4th.

Bears rookie LB Stumph racked up another Sack, and also forced a fumble on Reggie Bush.
The Bears forced 5 turnovers on the Lions and totaled 4 Sacks from 4 different players.
Stafford put up over 400 yards passing thanks to garbage time bombs.
Forte racked up 3 TD rushes.
