Tide rolls over Mizzou
Alabama 28, Missouri 17
A beastly performance by HB T.J. Yeldon propelled Alabama to a 28-17 win over Missouri to start conference play.
The Tigers — OC Mr. Mustard's alma mater — put up big yards through the air behind a 300-yard day from Maty Mauk, but a porous defense, coupled with an absent running game put Alabama in the driver's seat for much of the game.
QB Jacob Coker was efficient for Alabama, completing 14 of 18 throws, but once again threw 2 INTs, marring what was an otherwise perfect day for Bama's offense.
T.J. Yeldon ran for 181 yards and 2 scores, with Coker adding 85 of his own on the ground.
Up next for Alabama is a road tilt against No. 25 Ole Miss.
