Jameis Winston Suspended For Season
Tallahassee, FL - After suffering their first defeat in two seasons to Arizona State, the Seminoles seemed to get back on track with a convincing (sim) victory over in-state Florida Atlantic. However, all the news was not good news for the Seminoles. Over the past four years their star QB has been mired in controversy after controversy from sexual assault, to signing autographs for money, to shouting obscenities in public to stealing food, to shooting squirrels with bb guns ... well you get the picture. Through it all Coach Fisher has stood by his side. Unfortunately it all came to a head this weekend.
After the victory over Florida Atlantic, a video went viral showing the Heisman Trophy winner forcing a young woman into the woods where the two had sex despite her loud screams of "No", "Help" and "Stop". The video, shot by a student who happened to be watching the stars in the woods shows Winston with the Heisman Trophy in one hand and a BB Gun in the other as he shot at squirrels in the dark while he hit it from behind. Winston could clearly be heard screaming "Fuck her right in the pussy" as he put down the Heisman Trophy and BB Gun only to munch on stolen crab legs with one hand while using his right hand to autograph the crack of her ass for a nearby memorabilia dealer scene in the distance.
Individually Coach Fisher was able to excuse his star QB but not the disgraceful combination of all the acts at once. The evidence was so damning that Winston did not even deny it. The Tallahassee Police tried to delete the video and put a hush on the investigation but it was too late as the clip had been posted and shared on too many social media outlets. Despite the overwhelming evidence and Winston himself admitting to the crimes, the Tallahassee Police have issued a statement that no charges have been filed and this is still an on-going investigation.
In a weird twist, the student who shot the original video was crucified by the community and fellow classmates for simply posting the video and he has since had to drop out of school.
As for the Seminoles football team, Coach Jimbo Fisher has suspended Jameis Winston for the entire season and will now turn to Redshirt Sophomore John Franklin III to lead the team.

This has been the longest three weeks of my career. We played three straight games against top 5 teams and I think I have aged 30 years in 21 days. This game went into overtime as we could just not put Stanford away. We gave up 22 points in the 4th quarter including 14 points in the last minute of the game.
The turnover bug and overthrows by our QB's continued in this game and we are beyond frustrated. We turned the ball over 4 times and overthrew wide open receivers at least 5-7 times. We benched Mike Bercovici after his first overthrow in the 1st quarter and Bozeman stepped in and led us to a TD drive. Then I guess he shook hands with Bercovici on the sideline and caught whatever he has and he started flinging the ball all over the place and to the other team.
Bercovici came back in and steadied the ship but once again overthrew a wide open Jalen Strong on a crucial 3rd down that would have allowed us to run out the clock. Stanford took the subsequent punt and scored to send the game into overtime. We finally put them away but man.....it doesn't have to be this hard.
We are seriously considering either a shift at QB or a shift in offensive philosophy. DJ Foster had another great game and we might shift the focus of the offense to him. The bye week will definitely help us evaluate things and give us time to install an offensive system that best suits us.
Next Up: Bye Week
Players of the Game
Offense: Jalen Strong, WR, 15 Rec., 226 Yds, 3 TD
Defense: Jaxon Hood, DT, 10 Tkls., 4 TFL, 2 Sks

Yep, I plan on putting him on the bottom of the QB depth chart never to be heard from again.
Honestly, I was starting to get bored and figured this might add a little spice to the dynasty for me. lol
We'll see ... but his FSU career is done (in AALoA anyway).

Florida State Wins First Game In Post-Winston Era
The Seminoles defeated the Duke Blue Devils 49-20 thanks in part to a 28-6 second half margin. New starting QB John Franklin was aided by a gameplan that saw the Seminoles run the ball 42 times compared to just 19 passes. On those passes, however, Franklin was 15-19 for 227 yards and 4TD. Franklin also rushed for 45 yards and 2 TD. RB Mario Pender paced the rushing attack with 145 yards on 19 carries.

Alabama over FAU, 27-7
Bama had control all game but couldn't really blow it open because of some really impressive defense by FAU ... Surprisingly limited running room, and they blanketed my receivers all game, despite being over-matched talent-wise.

Sometimes I can't make heads or tails of this game. I thought my 88 rated defense would be great against the run and we could compete in terms of pass defense against you but you ran the ball down my throat all game. Then you play FAU who has a defense rated in the 70's and you struggle running the ball against them! SMH...
