And the beat goes on!
Taylor Kelly had another monster game as we are clicking on all cylinders offensively. This makes 4 straight games with 50+ points.
Defensively I was not happy with our performance especially in the second half. Just because we have a big lead doesn't mean that we can afford to take our foot off the gas. The 21 points we gave up in the second half were very upsetting. We allowed Washington to move the ball easily.
That being said we had another strong game passing the ball with two receivers (Strong & Smith) catching 10 passes for 100+ yards receiving each. We hope to continue this as we continue on in Pac12 play.
Next Up: Florida Atlantic
Player of the Game
Offense: Taylor Kelly, QB, 31-35, 467 Yds, 14 Car, 23 Yds, 6 Total TD
Defense: Zach Abdorrahimzad, LE, 6 Tkls, 3 TFL, 2 Sks
RECRUITING UPDATE:
We signed our first recruit, a one-star kicker that we plan on changing to a punter. He is a JUCO transfer rated 80 overall. We also had eight recruits on campus and anticipate receiving A's and A+'s for their visit. We have 4 recruits scheduled to be on campus for the Florida Atlantic game next week as well. As always our recruiting starts off slowly but we anticipate being in the top 20 recruiting in the nation when all is said and done. We don't have the resources that we had at Alabama but we definitely have the know-how. Stay tuned.

FAU advances to 5-1 with a 41-24 win over North Texas! Coach Nike's goal coming in was to win 5 games ALL SEASON!
Up Next is Arizona State and Coach Denham who Coach Nike is 1-0 against when both Coaches were at Alabama and USC respectively.
