Revolves around the short passing game. The slant and drag routes are his fallback comfort zone throws. When the pressure rises on him, the ball is likely headed to the flats thanks to a quick throw, or letting a drag/slant develop while he buys time. Deep passes consist of streaks when he faces Cover 2 zone, or the auto-motion HB streak on the outside. QB scrambles almost exclusively to the right. And is quick to sprint out and direct a receiver to drop their route and run elsewhere when scrambling.
Run game focuses on running up the middle and letting the RB fall forward for several more yards. Gets incredible blocking even when the defense blitzes right to the spot of the run. Doesn't run outside often, usually after an audible if the defense bunches in tight.
Key Plays:
4 WR, 1 TE: Quads Bunch formation:
Either a verticals play from the bunch group with the outside dragging. Very hard to stop.
Or a TE Angle combo with a slant and the trailing TE.
Multiple Personnel Packages: Singleback Bunch
Wants to run up the middle. When he audibles to the HB toss, his two outside bunch players reset get very close together. Gets a perfect seal way too easy, even when guessing run right, he ripped off a huge TD untouched.
5 WR
-- Probably a screen, slant/drag combo.
2 RB, 1 TE, 2 WR: Strong I Close
-- Likes the HB Off Tackle, PA Cross, and has the TE Angle combo.
2 RB, 3 WR: Split Shotgun
-- Didn't run in Super Bowl but once maybe, but loved this formation in pickup games. HB1 will motion behind QB towards the other flat. Sets up HB Screen to HB2 going away from the motion player (deadly play), HB2 Zone run, HB1 Swing Pass with blocking by WR. Also loves the Crossing Route by the slot with the outside WR running a deep In route with this setup.
Read Option always a threat, seemingly to the weakside of the formation (didn't run in SB).
HB Screens are a threat, likes to take out Foster and put in Sims. Also hot routes a slant playside hoping you chase the screen, or as a fallback.
DEFENSE
I think he has every defensive formation in the game in his custom playbook.
Loves to blitz to stop the run.
Users his safety often, and you can get him to bite hard on play action. You can also game his safety play by sending a player at him and he'll chase opening up that part of the field.
Users Watt and Clowney for easy sacks.
Somehow Devon Still can become unblockable and run by both the Center and RG.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Nothing major to note. Kickoff coverage had multiple holes open. Was kinda surprised I didn't get a TD on a couple returns.- Madden 25 -- Philadelphia Eagles:

Lots of outside runs. Tries to outrun defense by heading to sideline. Short passes to RB and TEs, If he thinks blitz is coming, he will motion speed rb to outside on streak.
Defense
Seem to play more Cover 3 than man. Middle was open. Run defense was suspect, but not sure if that was do to sliders
Special Teams
DJax on kick returns. Will run inside and bounce outside. If sidelines are not manually covered your cpu players will take horrible angles.

His offense starts and stops with Jamaal Charles (and very much understandably so). Very adept and reading the lines and bouncing it to the outside, so make sure you have contain or he'll bust a huge run on you (got a 72 yard run on me after I had made the score 10-7). Even when I focused on containing the perimeter he was able to get a few 15-20 yard runs up the middle. Overall pretty tough to stop on the ground.
Unfortunately Charles got a herniated disk on a goal line run, so he turned to Dexter McCluster, who also has speed to burn.
Didn't seem to be a great passer (although he did hit 7 straight completions w/ Cassel in the 2nd half), but he was so good with Charles it didn't really matter haha.
Defense
Runs a vanilla 3-4 scheme and mixes up man/zone pretty well, but I think he probably ran zone 65% and man 35% (that's just my perception, I could easily be wrong). Controls a linebacker and does a great job filling holes in the zone and plugging holes in the running game. However, there is room for cutbacks if he overpursues with the linebacker (usually he controls the MLB not named Derrick Johnson).
Special Teams
nothing amazing happened on special teams in our game, aside from a FG miss from him, which probably was the result of some lag.YtBalla wrote:Offense
Tried to get the running game going early, but abandoned it quickly when it was not working. Loves to throw timing routes, specifically outs and comebacks. Devine goes out for a pass on almost every passing play, and he will sometimes run streaks out of the backfield.
Defense
Mixed up his coverages really well between man and zone. Can be caught over committing on PA. His zone coverage usually cover all short routes, but leave him vulnerable deep.
Special Teams
Nothing really happened here.

Offense - Seems to not have a definite identity as of now. Blaine Gabbert is a lot more accurate than you would think. Turnover prone or it might've just been that game.
Defense - Sacks you on PA before your QB can drop back. Makes it very tough to make decisions. Picked off Mettenberger 2. All three of my passing touchdowns came over the top deep.
Special Teams - Nothing spectacular!
