Chris Phillips capped off his hall of fame career with 4 passing TDS and added two more on the ground. Definitely going to miss this young man next year. We are looking to send him off with another BCS championship.

What a crazy opening I had versus Arizona State in the Pac 12 title game.  The first quarter included not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 turnovers.  It all started when OSU went 60+ yards on the opening kickoff to set up tremendous field position. The drive was a three and out on three straight passes. On third down, OSU throws a pick 6. Fuck.  Regrouping, on OSU's second drive, the Beavers drove into the red zone and threw a second pick.  On the very next play, the Sun Devils throw a 50 yard bomb down the field, and I strip the ball and recover it.  My next drive results in a pick. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. Rawr. Piss. Spit.  I'm deciding whether or not to pull my QB watching as ASU drives, and then misses a long field goal. My returner takes it to the house to draw even. QB stays...

I settled down in the 2nd quarter and found a groove with a strong run game to score.  ASU finds a run game on their next drive and settle for a field goal.  Inside the final 2 minutes of the half I find my TE wide open for a 30 yard TD pass.  ASU executes a perfect 90 second drive and gets a field goal to end the half.

The second half was a slugfest. ASU found another FG and I scored a TD to hold them off. Senior CB Khalif Barnes sealed the game with a pick in the end zone.
