Mizzou Signs Three More
The Easter bunny came bearing gifts for the Missouri Tigers. Three top-tier recruits all signed offer sheets Sunday, vaulting Missouri into the No. 2 class nationwide.
The Tigers locked up the top DE in the country and the nation's No. 2 athlete, who played both HB and DB at his New Jersey high school. They also signed a four-star OLB, Slade Brantley, a stud athlete who would grade out well in a 4-3 or a 3-4. He's a sure tackler with 91 ACC and 85 SPD, who also earned high marks from scouts for his pursuit, block shedding and pass-rushing moves.
Through just six weeks, the Missouri Tigers already have their best class in Coach Mustard's tenure.
Here's the Tigers total class so far:
DE Ahmad O'Neal, 81 OVR (No. 1 DE)
ATH Kerry Outlaw, 78 OVR (No. 2 ATH)
OLB Slade Brantley, 78 OVR (No. 8 OLB, GEM)
QB Rico Phillips, 69 OVR (No. 14 QB)

AL 49 - TXAM 47
Really trying to figure out how TXAM has a losing record after this game. The Aggies gave us all that we could handle and we had to hold on at the end to get a tough road victory.
Chris Phillips had another good game with 5 total TDs.
Next Up:
Players of the Game
Chris Phillips, 15-18, 222 Yds, 15 Car, 48 Yds, 5 Total TD
Tim Williams, 3 Tkls, Int

Uggh, you stole Slade straight from me right out of the home land. Thankfully, OLB wasn't a need for me, but it still kinda stings to lose him to you.MeanMrMustard wrote:They also signed a four-star OLB, Slade Brantley, a stud athlete who would grade out well in a 4-3 or a 3-4. Nebraska is not filled with sorrow though, as we get three marquee signings of our own.
ATH Courtney Daniels (Lufkin, TX) #18 ATH, #52 Ovr
ATH Richard Davis (Clarinda, IA) #22 ATH, #63 Ovr
DT Lawrence Upshaw (Kearney, NE) #6 DT, #134 Ovr
Daniels is slated to compete at QB carrying 92 Speed, 87 Acceleration, and 90 Agility. His throwing chops are a concern at B- levels. If he can't win the QB job, likely if the Huskers sign Antonio Foster, another crazy talented dual threat QB athlete, he can split out at WR. Davis is set to become a RB with 92 Speed, 92 Acceleration, and 91 Agility. He's also shifty as hell, and can play WR if needed, but he's tabbed as the heir apparent to Terrell #NewbyForHeisman. Upshaw isn't going for for school, he's a disruptive linemen, and couldn't sway Slade to stay home. Upshaw is more pass rusher than lane clogger. DT and QB were two team needs that Nebraska had to truly worry about. Besides DE, every other signing from here out will be viewed as luxury pickups.

Nebraska comes out on top over Michigan State, winning 31-3. The game was much closer than the score would indicate. MSU's kicker sucks, and missed a relatively easy field goal. Secondly, both of MSU's interceptions were thrown into one on one coverage, with my DB's making a play on the ball.
All three key official visits should go very well. Athlete Antonio Foster is the main QB target. Outside Linebacker Fred Edwards is thought to be flexed to DE instead, depending on how the class shakes out. WR Jonathan Austin may be Nebraska's steal from Mizzou as thanks for ripping Slade from their grasps. There's a lot of work left to do though. There were a couple other DLine prospects to see the game.

When you DC from the game, you can sign back in and the results should still upload. Two games ago I DC'ed from PSN at least 3 times in the middle of the game and finished. Before I exited the post game screen I reconnected and everything uploaded. One thing EA got right.Ken wrote:Tried to play last night but dced. Can't playa again until 9 PST so just advance I guess.

Mizzou beats Georgia to stay alive in SEC race after dropping one to Vandy last week.
24-21, but the score's a bit misleading. Bulldogs were playing catch-up all game, and Mizzou could've put up more points at the end, but opted to wind the clock.

I've definitely mentioned it before when you've had this issue. I'll hire a sky writer next time it happens. Look to the sky for any messages.Ken wrote:Why wasn'tthat made a point until now!?!? Wowz
